Talking about damage of this build, I'have killed double Carcass boss in 1 hit and skiped all phases LOL.
Happy new year everybody :D

Dank build, damage is amazing considering there's basically no damage scaling on the gear. Killed shaper at 77, felt about as easy as doing it with Arc totems at 90+...

K, I threw together a build guide for the min/max version and credited this guide and linked it as being the base.


Also the build is top tier clear speed with minion speed and faster attacks.

Thinking of giving this build a go, I had an elder thicket bow drop for me that is ilvl 85 but guide says 86. Is there much of a difference?

No there isnt, ilvl requirement for lvl20 VP is 80 so you are fine with a 85.

This is actually a good question. I'd be grateful for a definitive answer. iLvl80 is surely enough to craft everything you need here:

However, two people asked me to benchcraft ilvl81 bows with lvl18 VP on them. They gave up on rolling lvl20 after using 2k+ alts. They've seen multiple lvl18 VPs. This raises a question about rolling probabilities being even or depending on ilvls and/or ilvl requirements. Does anybody know the answer?

Which bases are best, which rolls are we looking for?

Do we just spam denses or add some other fossils to the resonator?

I had a hard time rolling lvl20 VP but i did get lron grip lvl20 3 times which has the same probability so i dont think there is a diffrence its just luck..But then again there might be hidden modifiers that we dont know, its hard to get a diffinitive answer.

Belt is just dense spamming. ilvl80 shapers crystal belt is the best base (2ex) if you want cheaper alternative shaper ilvl80 chain belt gives you 60 less ES on implicit.

Boots ilvl86 sorc boots if you are after 35% movespeed you use Dense and Shuddering. cheaper alternative ilvl86 sorc boots with only Dense and you craft 20movespeed and cannot be chilled (takes away the need for dream fragment, still can be frozen though which is managable even in uber with a flask since it doesnt happen that often). Ilvl 86 even in second option incase you get lucky and roll the movespeed even without the shuddering.

How do we deal with the slow in the Elder/Uber Elder fights with this build?

I can handle red Elder Hardcore fine I'm just worried about doing Uber with the slow

ive seen other HoA builds use ball lightning for poisoning have you ever tried it? if so how does it stack up vs using bow skill. NVM just need to actually read full post.
