[3.8] A CI/LL Tri-Curse Herald of Agony Occultist [Deathless Uber Elder, League Starter]

Just killed uber elder with this awesome build - 2 portals left (SkinnyFatty if You're willing to see my gear). Also got my highest char lvl ever - I'm currently at 96. Next goal - 100 :).

Why Resolute Techinique?? is it really worth it the 5 points investiments?

Resolute Tec affects the herald? is it really important? can i delay it or should i get it at lvl 60sh as u said on the guide?

And last thing... When should i go CI? what level? or how many ES should i have before going CI?

1) Yes, you should cap your elemental resistances, it is one of the top priorities in this game as nearly all the big damages are elemental.


2) No, Resolute Technique does not affect the Herald. Resolute Technique only affects you. Is it really important : YES.

If you do not take it, you will have roughly only 70% accuracy against monsters. So, you will not hit the monsters all the time, therefore you will poison only even less than this (assuming you have 80% chance), generating low stacks of Virulence which are the bread and butter of the DPS of the Crawler. Try to see the DPS of the Crawler in PoB with only 20 stacks of Virulence and compare it to 40 stacks...


3) In my opinion, you should go CI when you have more than 4k ES with your stuff and Discipline. So it's not totally level-dependant, it's more gear-dependant.

A big thank you to this guide, I have killed my first and second Uber elder with this build! It was so hard I thought I would never been able to do it no matter what I do, that I literally paid another guy in last league to help me kill Uber Elder. Finished game, yes; Satisfied, no! But this, I killed Uber Elder myself! First time, one death, due to the degen; Second time, 3 death, getting complacent! XD
But regardless I completed that game myself and it felt great!
Thanks for the build really, it was clear and I knew what I need to do, what scale my Celestial buddy (yes! I bought the MTX for it!) and the defense.

Btw, I did not completely follow everything. I used Asenath for quality of life, no enchant so no hatred and some normal resistance amulet and ring, very average player stuff. I did craft the bow tho. Quillrain is great man, no doubt; but for Uber Elder, I feel you need that extra push. 11k Es, didn't bother abt my Dps, Uber Elder down!

I have 2 watcher eye, the Es on hit and faster recharge, any opinion of which one is better?

So how are people using the crafted bow with Discipline? Even with Enlighten level 4 and all of the mana reservation nodes in the tree, my unreserved mana would be at 0 according to PoB. Obviously we can craft -6-7 mana cost of abilities on rings, but I'd rather have ES recharge rate on my rings.

There is a 4% mana reduced node below CI node..You missed that one.
