Yes

They modified the +1 to lightning gems recipe, it now adds flat lightning damage to spells.

Why take Alira if we're taking Elemental Overload? Just for the res?

ManaReg and Res are nice. If you are not going crit with your endgame build, your probably should just kill Alira.
