I noticed in the latest PoB there's no mention of Bane, I've been playing with it and seems to do well. Have you tried it?

For Soul Rend, how are you liking it? I've seen Tarke's trickster with it and I'm jealous of that cast speed.

Bane seems like a good source of damage on it's own, and i might add it later for some handcasting spec, but for now i decided i am gonna leave the blasphemy setup as a default one.

I am spending my time with the family on weekends, so literally sitting in act 1 for now. Will properly start on monday i guess

I think that Bane is a "Curse skill" while the curses are just "Curse" may be the key.

It's just normal Curse. And it does count towards curse limit when enemies are effected by the DOT. You can run as much as you want, but they will overwrite each other based on the curse limit you have

No LMP/GMP on soulrend setup? The clear speed will be horrible without it.

This isn't true. With zero additional curse mods, I'm definitely getting both the dot and temp chains at the same time.

So far as it goes, note the difference in verbiage: Temporal Chains: "Curses all targets in an area, slowing them and making effects on them expire more slowly." Bane: "Applies a debuff to enemies in an area, which deals chaos damage over time."

Went in on standard to test now, and on a Witch with 8 passive points (to get dex for temp chains) and no gear except Tabula, I can apply Temp chains and slowly drains the life of monsters.

GMP is always optional and you can see it in end-game section

can Bane trigger Vixen's Entrapment or does it need to be an actual curse?

Thanks for the guide, given me a great starting point to work on playing ES for the first time. You'll see this when you start playing but Bane is just SUPER awesome and you should definitely look to include it in one of the builds.

I'm running it with Despair, Temporal chains and Enfeeble in a Doedre's Scorn and it makes up the majority of my damage and the clear speed is amazing. Thanks again, enjoy your weekend!

I'm on act 4 running this build, I want to do an Soulrend and Contagion build, but Contagion for itself its not doing too much clear damage comparing to Bane and Soulrend seems slow as hell to use... I really like the idea of the build but I have no idea what should I use in the end-game. Is there any legendary items to check for this combo? Does the new Leech ES works on Soulrend?

I'm on act 5 following the guide. It is pob and skill tree updated??
