Maybe until we don't have enough good res source. I was thinking of going with ghost dance and escape artist for first ascendences.

MOM is in Africa, you'll brick your leveling by trying to get it. Just take life nodes earlier, get acro phase acro, and overlevel if you don't feel comfortable. I'd take Patient Reaper first still, and take Prolonged Pain in Uber if you're concerned with dying.

What are your thoughts on going raider for QoL/zoomzoom? Is there a huge difference in damage/survivability?

You will have marginally more movement speed, less if you copy mathil's chest. You will have more attack speed, substantially less survivability, and similar overall damage.

Skitterbots are quite weak in an endgame setup. Their shock value is additive with wither so its maybe 7% damage for 35% reservation, plus a marginal chill value that, again, is conflicting with hinder + TR 60% less slow. Feel free to use a Witchfire; its quite nice for mapping but I don't like it for bosses.
