[3.12 Video Guide] Vortex Cold Snap DoT [HC/SC/Uber Elder/Shaper viable]

I have a maybe stupid question, but I have a wand that adds fire to spells. Should I get rid of it? Or since we're proccing EE with orb of storms + storm brand it doesn't matter since vortex is a dot and it does not hit? Or does fuck frostbom the fact that I'm hitting with fire+lightning at the same time? Just to be sure if I should buy another wand or try to annul the added fire to spells or if it just doesn't matter.

I'm not really sure if I'm loosing dps since i'm not killing the same enemies so I can't properly test it.

As long as you don't "hit" with cold, you should be good.

I've just tried Vortex ingame and it does apply elemental equilibrium just doing Cold Damage, meaning that Vortex has an initial Hit actually increases the enemy cold resistance ¿Am I doing something wrong?

I don't think think so. I'm running LL with max block, es on block and 3 auras at 12k + ES and 5.6 mill dps.
This is more budget friendly, though!
