[3.10] Gryph's Volatile Dead Necromancer || Fun, Medium Budget, Tanky, Millions of DPS

are my gem links screwed up? here is what i have: Staff: - Volatile Dead lvl 21 20% - Awakened Spell cascade lvl 5 20% ($$$) - Concentrated Effect Support Lvl 20 -20% - Awakened Elemental Focus Support Lvl 5 20% ($$) - Cyclone Level 20 20% - Awakened Fire Penetration Support Lvl 1 20% ($) Note: staff has CWC level 18 and power charge on crit strike lvl 16 ($$$) Scold;s Bridle - Clarity Lvl 1 - Bone Offering Lvel 20 - Summon Stone Golem lvl 21 - CWDT lvl 21 ----> could this be one problem ? CWDT is too high? im probably messed up here. Body Armor (no spell crit chance increase though) - probably screwed here also - Unearth lvl 5 - Ball Lightning lvl 4 - Greater Multiple Projectiles Support lvl 20 23% - Purifying Flame lvl 11 -Wave of Conviction lvl 7 20% - CWDT lvl 1 20% Doedres Gloves - Herald of Ash lvl 20 20% - Enlighten Support lvl 4 - Zealotry level 20 20% - Flame Dash lvl 20 20% Boots (probably screwed up here as well) - Vaal Discipline lvl 20 - CWDT level 1 - Spell Cascade Support lvl 20 - Desecrate lvl 7 20% i have an extra body armor 6 link with the following for boss fights but i cant seem to figure out if it really works or not as the bosses still take too long to die (regular map bosses not even the map guardians) - Cremation lvl 4 - Greater Multiple Projectiles Support level 20 20% - Controlled Destruction Support level 21 20% - Elemental Focus Support level 21 20% - CWDT level 1 - COmbustion Support Level 21 20% any help with my skill gems will be appreciated. i can be flexible swapping the chest pieces out for mapping / bossing. As you can see I really invested a ton into this build and cant just let it not succeed. still dont know how to reallocate exactly those 14 points from the skill tree using thread of hope.... absolutely Cant kill any Phasing boss (guardians of the atlas)...i run out of flask charges way before the fight ends and there are no mobs to kill to reload my flasks. dps is too low for single target. @daibom, your ring should have life gained from spells, not attacks, i think?

" thanks hadnt realized that. will check and change quick update: bought this. made a huge difference in life sustain. cant imagine how it hit 96 using the wrong life on hit mechanic. haha. but dps still suffers on bosses. Well this build has been an absolute blast. I've been able to beat every boss in the game: A8 Sirus, Uber Elder, Shaper, and Aul deathless with it. The only things left to do is to "Suffixes can't be changed", wipe prefixes on chest and proceed to slam for high life or ES and craft. Double corrupt gloves. Can't fit in an Aul's uprising without reshuffling most of my gear sadly. As for medium and small jewels here is what I used: Probably could reallocate and min max the tree some more to fit in a large jewel cluster but the way I have it now is good enough. " The Assassin's Mark ring was a lucky alt spam into regal. The Life on Spell hit was crafted by spamming Pristine + Frigid (i really needed cold resistance). Swap out Frigid for any of the other elemental fossils for a higher chance at a specific resistance or a prismatic fossil if you want a higher chance at any resistance. |

you have 4 CWDT setups. Howd you manage the mana reservation for your aura's?

" I do not use Herald of Ice, it just rolled on the ring with the rest of it. I have 18% reduced mana reserved on tree. I sustain my mana through 13% damage gained as mana (the life and mana catalysts raise the 6% you can craft up to 7 btw) |

Question: i noticed you have culling strike. Can you suggest how i rearrange my own skill gems (i think my setup and gear is 1 or 2 pages before this) and tell me where i can slot that in (if it helps). Thank you. | |
update:
bought the following and it makes a significant difference (the spell crit chance and the Assassins Mark Curse) And added Culling Strike (removed Clarity) still had to max the fire resists for the wise oak flask to have an effect. |
