[3.21] 🌿Ultimate Claw Poison Pathfinder - Untouchable Viper - Molten Strike update by FEL

I've started to use a breathstealer instead of the weave. The corruption anoint makes up quite a bit of the DPS loss and the additional mana lets me fit in a defiance banner. The spores help a lot in rippy expeditions and rituals.

Potentially adding a despair on hit ring and replacing the amulet with a solstice. Will need to either replace tribal or corruption with a whispers of doom though.

any advice for a weapon better than wasps nest?
i assume void fangs are best in slot? the only way to make them elder is thru awakener's orb, right?

Imperial claw elder with multi elder prefix, flat chaos, attack speed and crafted multi suffix is doable with fossils.

For void fangs, you will have to compensate life on hit somehow (vitality life on hit watchers eye for example). They can be made elder with harvest crafting.

I might look to replace one of my weapons with a void fang. Unless you get really lucky with harvests it feels like the only way is to get a hunter + elder claw. Getting the elder DOT plus flat chaos damage is a lot trickier but it seems that there is quite a few hunter mods that can compensate.

If you are going that route I'd just do vanilla, get flat chaos with essence of zeal, add cannot roll attack mods, slam hunter with suffixes full for guaranteed increased chaos then replace benchcraft with multi. Gives you 4 very relevant mods. You can also alt spam flat and attack speed for more determinisn.

my take on the claw-crafting-conundrum:

-clean ilvl 83 Void Fang

-Resonator (Abbarant + Corroded + Metalic + Shuddering) for Atk Speed + Flat Chaos + Psn Damage

-Remove ALL other Affixes with Annuls or use non-chaos to chaos harvest-craft if Flat Chaos / Psn Damage is missing

-Craft Cannot roll Attacks

-Slam Hunters Ex

-Craft Chaos Dot Multi

posted that in the beginning of ultimatum, still seems like the best deterministic crafting method for better claws than wasps

Keep in mind that the elder claw is superior though.

did some more testing and its actually cheaper to use a 3-resonator instead of a 4-resonator, also forget all about the harvest crafts i mentioned (too expensive):

1) ilvl 83+ void fangs

2) spam 3-resonator with "aberrant + metallic + shuddering" you want flat chaos (prefix), attack speed (suffix), psn dmg (suffix)

3) now use annuls to get atleast 1 free prefix space, 1 free suffix space with the other 3 affixes intact (that means there can be 1 garbage prefix we dont care about)

4) craft "cannot roll attack mods"

5) use hunter exalt

6) remove "cannot roll attack mods" and craft chaos multi

Apparently there's a bug report saying transcendence armor has been mitigating physical. Hopefully that's not true and tankiness is about to get more gutted.

Just tested it letting some tier 5 mobs whack me for a while. Feels like it's true.
