It depends on what you prefer if you want the more stable DPS stack Vicious Bite or the bursty Renewal. Your only option is then to get Megalomaniacs with Vicious Bite as those nodes only spawn on large cluster jewels or stack Renewal with regular medium cluster jewels. Otherwise, you can go pure defensive and stack defensive notables.

Renewal, defensive and a socket. Currently Im running Dreadmarch, adds tons of survival and movement speedfd to the mininons.

Renewal + Bodyguards/Hulking Corpses/Feasting Fiends/Dread March
Any one of those 4 is fine.
And a Jewel Socket.

Host Chief
Arena Master
Merveil Retainer

Could use some help. 1st time playing POE, think my gear is solid, but not insane. Doing well in most content, can clear Simulacrum T20 and no issues with Juiced T16 maps/conq's for the most part. Real problem is Sirius, he keeps shredding me and killing my AG. It seems to be the laser beams? Maybe I am just not practiced at dodging them, but they keep 1 shoting me. Would appreciate any assistance or recommendations to improve build! Have around 8 EX atm, but can farm more.

You probably should not take AG into Sirius, I too have trouble avoiding the laser beam but you really have to dodge them. The easiest way to dodge them is to keep track of where Sirius is, and then just move behind him.

Btw your character is set to private, so I cannot judge your gear or gem set up.

I would de-summon AG before going into Sirus if you value his gear at all.
