Finally managed to get my SSF necro over 1k strength w/o the efficient training jewel and the Meginord's Vise Steel Gauntlets...

What's your total Strength? I'm struggling and just want to know what's... possible wit that setup. :) (Given you didn't take any extra Strength passives.)

My str is just over 1000. You can check it out in POB and see my tree and gear in the char sheet-only have 1 SSF blight toon

I did had to take extra str nodes to hit 1000

The switch was painful as I had to give up damage, spider aspect, speed and some life but gain 2 zombies and life leech. Still not sure which setup is better

Get quality going on those gems man!

Level 15/20 quality tends to match level 20 gems (depending on gem of course).. but getting to level 15 gem is really quick.

Yes, checked his build. Guardian. Ultra tanky. Stacking Mana and ES and curses. Converting lots of Mana to ES, thanks to Watchers,then going CI. Using a very good ES shield (not the greatest though).

I have been considering doing some tests with a Wand and a Shield. Spectres are in a 6L at the moment BUT even with tons of gems linked to them and after checking PoB they don't deal too much damage compared to the HUGE damage of Zombies. .Spectres could perfectly stay in the Helmet and allow us to use a Shield. That would mean not using skeletons either.The benefit of a 6L crafted Mace of course is the +3 to socketed gems, which allows more zombies. So all in all, we lose quite some DPS and we gain TONS of defenses. Gives food for thought.

Basically every setup you can think of for this build will work well.

Wand and shield you get defences and you can also get some funky "trigger a socketed spell when you use a skill" stuff going on... Another setup we can definitely play with. I haven't tried it yet though... I'm currently building my Necro on Blight cos I wanna annoint an amulet and try some top end blight maps.

All I can say is that being such a bad player against UberElder, is the first time I feel it´s easy. I could even stand in front of Shapers Beam for a sec or 2. All I had to do was let my minions do the work, I didn´t even lose 1 Life, Shield did the job.

I gotta say, thanks for the build. Attempted Uber Elder for the first time last night and did it deathless. All I had to do was walk around and watch the Zombies eat Shaper + Elder. Will most definitely be coming back to this build in the future!

Ok, I got a question.. I might be stupid and with small delve experience.. but I don't understand some monsters there..

Depth 211 and exploding wetas are so overtuned that they one-shotted me again with all flasks up, 7.2k HP, 3.6k ES.. I really don't get it am I running too fast/slow. How to counter those little hsits?

Those wetas are reason to why I actually switched to this build from self made zomby/solar guards build... Several times I simply ran into their cast on death explosion because solar guards just killed them from far away.. it's so hard to see them under all my monsters.

Remove that Karui Blood. Use this:

You have pretty good gear. Aim at improving your ES. It's TOO low to be with Zealoth's Oath. Respec to Arcane Will and Arcane Focus without losing too much life once you get:


BEST of all, get some ...well...SOME currency and get a Watchers with "Gain 18% of Mana as ES while affected by Clarity". Its,...BIS. Game changer. Best idea would be to get Grace out,put Clarity (just for the Watchers gain),remove your Hollow Arbiter and place Watchers there.


You don´t need Desecrate all the time. It´s waste. Get Vaal Molten Shell and use the Vaal version. Put desecrate back in your HO when needed.

Get a good Unset ring (yes, I know, expensive,again) and use Flesh offering, puts your minion on steroids, it's just like Vaal Haste, but without soul Gain prevention,...no waits, 30+Attack +Cast+Movement Speed.

ED: Other ideas...Shapers with Increased life corruption, 4 links, you can recolor them with Vaals and Chrome,no worries (get good Armour and ES base)and ultimately....once you are rich a Heavy Belt with Increased Attributes(11 or 12%)+Maximum Life+Strength)

Sorry, I intend to follow this build going golems with melee specters, and went to the last page to see what people think of this guide...

But now I'm a little confused. Are those 14k EHP numbers for the with class and this build? The PoB and the videos doesn't show this tankyness...

Just follow the guidelines in the first post. That will take you to endgame easily.
