Why so?

The damage reduction is minor and we are already pretty tanky and the added damage isn't relevant to the cyclone-spirit offering setup.
I'd rather have a second curse instead

You can have another curse thru gloves.

Yes, But unless you take whispers of doom or apply additional curse enchant your max curse limit per target will be 1

Well, if you want to have two curses and free up one chest slot,...There is no other way, is it?

The great thing is there are options for the chest. I don't think curse is that effective because we have to channel so much and often to get it's benefits... And when you do the monsters are already dead anyway. I think there is better use of socket and annointment.

It just adds to the versatility of the build and that's what makes this build so great.

Last night I was testing out CWC + molten shell, blade vortex, bladefall, curses, GMP+spells.... They're all unique and fun and provide free MTXs!

In saying that... The only time I would NEED to properly use those slots is crazy delve depths where build is getting pushed to limits... I'm not even anywhere near that yet :)

Edit; again.. deep delving is another story, when it's pushed to its limits, cursing would be effective because we'll be CONSTANTLY cycling+channeling so it's getting triggered very frequently.

Well, I like to have two curses setup just for delve.

For mapping there are some juicy alternatives. Thing is that Necros are so OP that almost any combination, even if not optimal works great and it's fun. Really, we could go ....ANYTHING and still be great. I am still trying to find something that makes enemies explode and chain explosions...Something that shatters, expands...hehe, whatever. That would make build build even more fun. I have been thinking about removing Infused and add Pulverise,..need Vorici though...

If you have any ideas as to what could be added in that chest 6L to have mobs to die in chain, I am all ears.

What about GMP + Magna Orb + Chain... That sounds pretty fun :D
