I just switched to AG with Kingmaker, Mask of the Tribunal, Meginords Vise(enfeeble curse on hit), rare Chest (with max life%, life, chaos res, additional curse) and Victarios Flight and I really like this setup.

It gives me 54% additional defences from the helmet. So about +600-700 ES, some phys mitigation, evasion and resist. Might change victarios flight to Alberons Warpath boots for 12% additional defences.

Currently got 946k Zombie DPS in PoB (added Lethal pride and AG items, only Kingmaker adds dps from AG though).

6k life, 9k es(while spinning).
41% phys mitigation (65% in combat).

77/76/76/75 - 111/119/110/82 resists (while spinning).

Still got alot of improvements to make and Im not using any impale gem atm. Extremely tanky setup with double curse and insane dmg.


edit: forgot to add that I'm using Ruins Hellion with his buff too. So slightly higher dps and defensive than listed, with buff its 965k dps.

which auras should i run now?? got discipline,dread banner and blood and sand, all running in a lv.3 Enlighten setup (+purity), yet i got a empty socket i don't know how to use...


Could i fill "Pride" with a lv.4 Enlighten??...really doubt it...

It's the AG setup. Chest with additional curse and Curse on hit gloves on him. Using vulnerability myself and enfeeble on AG. It's only effective against bosses since most mobs dies instantly. Even bosses and metamorphs only lasts a few seconds.

So apparently I get higher dmg with awakened minion damage + dread banner than I do with Impale + dread banner? Anyone else tried this?

I worded my question wrong.

I meant to ask was how are you running two curses as in where are you getting the ability to cast a second curse (since we are limited to one unless we change the limit via the tree (Whispers of Doom) or on gear.

Does the AG chest also provide +1 to number of curses we can use?

The AG is its own invidual and additional curses works on him like a normal player.

changed my gear a bit, running over 16k ES with 2750 str and next level should be just over 17k ES and 4 more levels will be 18k ES and 2850 strength. at that point it might be worth it to drop a little strength and take some dmg passives like enduring bond or gravepact.



jewels are clarity watchers eye, 3x brawn, 6x efficient training and 1x might of the meek. lethal pride is 20% strength. with wise oak plus bone barrier and commander of darkness it's super easy to res cap. you need barely any on gear at all. and because of this its actually super easy to balance resistance for the damage reduction

there is the PoB for anyone interested.

for people who have maxed out most of the gear for the regular setups i'd definitely recommend trying it. it feels both tankier and faster than the standard tank setup. the gear isn't much more expensive as long as you have the watchers eye. the jewels can get bought for pretty cheap, rings are easy as you don't need much res. most expensive part is the amulet so it's probably cheaper to try and craft your own. belt is achievable via chaos spamming (heavy belt might be better for more strength but stygian lets you get minion leech via a jewel and also fill some res to balance wise oak)
