I think the issue a lot of the people updating to the new build are having is that the old setup had 3 Spellslinger triggered spells (Volatile Dead, Desecrate, Wave of Conviction) while the new one only has 2 and Wave of Conviction is triggered via the wand craft.
This is necessary because the Volatile Dead/Detonate Dead Spellslinger setup in the new build reserves a lot more mana than the old setup and a third Spellslinger combo simply isn't possible without further reduced mana reservation. So you either HAVE TO get a wand with the "Trigger a Socketed Spell when you Use a Skill" craft or I guess you just stick with the old Volatile Dead setup until you can. Have to say, leveling as a starter was kind of meh. But it's really starting to get fun in maps. It definitely took a while to 'turn on'. I just found my first ex, what should I do with it? Is there something I should get now, or just save up for inpulsa 6L?
Any other thoughts for improvements? I'm sure my tree is jacked since I've been kind of following a few different paths. And I disabled wave of conviction so that's useless stuff in the boots. |

Hi I switched to the new tree and am wondering about the spellslinger mana reservation. I have the two set ups and a trigger wand yet I can't run the 6L without inspiration unless I take the sovereignty node. Was this an oversight in the build? I'm not sure how anything other combo can work without sovereignty.
