SO I have managed to farm out the body armour and I had the staff from another build but the gloves and helm are still insanely expensive for a league start in my case. Is there an alternative to either of these or do I have to just run the meta phantasm specter build until I can get all of the items??

Put them on live search, you might get em cheaper. These are just for damage and higher uptime of phantasms. Helm is less priority, and gloves are just pure damage

What do you mean by live search?? I just check the poe trade site from time to time looking for a bargoon

Oh ok, it is on the POE trade side and not the third party one. Well knowing that the helm and gloves are more or less QOL upgrades and no so much required, I will give this a shot with the specter gear I currently have and see how it goes.

So I was looking at the jewels in the tree and in the top of the tree closest to the Witch start you have a jewel socketed called Thread of Hope... Can I ask what it is doing because all I can see is that it is removing 10% res from everything.

Yea I have read the wiki, but I do not understand what it is actually doing that is a positive thing. Is it allocating all of the nodes within the given ring size without having to actually spec in to them??

I see that it say you can allocate nodes without them being in your tree but none of the nodes used within the circle are not attached to the tree
