Actually, you just need 1 vivinsect to get +5 for discipline. For the other ring, it's better to use an unset with +2 level skill and lv21 purity gem, which can save you at least 10ex, and it can also give you strength and dex. I used to use 2 vivinsect when I start the build, but then switch to the unset since 2 rings is just a waste of currency

I just got Doryani's Delusion boots and a 30% RMR F&S enchant to add Flesh and stone to my build but I'm doing something wrong because Purity of Lightning cost 48% of my life to cast. Edit: Looks like I need 2 pure aptitude cluster jewels. What is the easiest way to hit the 300% break point with clusters that have pure aptitude in them?

it's because you link blood magic to the shoes, it will increase the % reserved. People suggests to put blood magic setup there, but for me, it's better to put it into gloves, or even helmet.

is still BiS regardless for the CI build and then we go with 1 Hungry Loop fed to personal preference for our zombies or spectres.

While there are cheaper and decent options the +5 and the massive regen provided are unmatched.

The other downside to getting rings with implicit purities is losing out on free shock and ignite immunity, CI for example can use anomalous grace, anomalous purity of fire, and anomalous purity of lightning in combination with alpha's howl and doryani's boots with a built in purity of ice to get immunity to freeze, shock, and ignite.

There are much cheaper and decent alternatives but One Vivinsect with a minimum endurance charge roll is hands down the BiS.

I'm having problems with my mana when I run two Vivinsect.
My unreserved mana is 5, which makes it hart to cast anything ;).
I don't understand why, I have basically a copy from the endgame build which has 1002 mana, 3% unreserved.
I have 1152 mana but 0% unreserved and I don't even run Clarity.
I tried for a long time to figure out what the problem is. The toon is only 95 but two level more probably wouldn't help anyway.
Can somebody have a look at my pastebin and give me a hint? Charisma is anointed of course.

Lower precision to level one, problem solved, if you want more RMR though without spending 60-120ex on insanely priced corrupted jewels just manually path to charisma and annoint champion of the cause for an extra -8% RMR if you want to add another aura like flesh and stone, which you should.

There are a few ways. You could replace that anima stone with a medium thread of hope to grab horde, and just path right from deep wisdom. With those extra 8 points, manually path to charisma and annoint champion of the cause(put anima stone on the jwl socket nearby). Other way would be to get more rmr on your abyss jewels. Yet another way, to just get a rmr enchant on your helmet and delevel precision if necessary.

When it comes to replacing gems thats one you need to decide on tbh, the only hard part about playing this build in general is figuring out how to hold the 467 gems we need.

You always end up having to give up something so its just a matter of figuring out what you can do without, myself for example I recently gave up the maim support I had linked to my flesh and stone to get minion life on my AG and Zombies, its just a personal juggling act.

This is my gem layout atm but im playing in CI so we use a couple more auras, 13 in all;
