[3.24] SRS Bomber aka Popcorn SRS | League Start to Endgame | All Content

Today i busted that dreaded lvl 95 mark and leveled up to 96 for the first time in my POE history. I"ve been enjoying POE since the "strongbox" season, skiped a few, but always came back.

Thank you for putting this little gimmick together, i really enjoy that build (even if i still use Infernal Legion on my SRS).

Really like playing SrS and every League i look to improve it further. Over Time some Things are that kind of QoL for me that i never like to look back from it. Or getting an Hunter Chest with Increased Life, these Hunter Mod that gives 10% of Life all 4 Seconds and as much flat Life as i can get. An add Curse or increased effect of Offerings would be an Cherry on Top but not looking mainly for. Cause i prefer a higher HP Pool overall to get better use of % Life Regen or much more to prevent One Shots. Allways the most expensive but also best Way to upgrade would be an Elder/Shaper Helmet with an Combination of several Mods. Dream would be +2 all Minion Gems- lvl x MinionLife support- Flat Life , - 30% more Ele Dam with Skills in these Helmet - Concentrated Effect and Hypothermia Support. That would be my Dream here. For Shield i switched to an newer Base with possible Minion Mods and an "Life on Block Impli" currently crafting on (

Getting perma Onslaught on Boots via Synth Impli is something debateable but huge QoL for lazy Flask Users like me. An Mageblood could make much Room for other Things (get rid of need of Synth Impli on Boots or use Haste and Watchers Eye) but is much fricking Gearswapping. I hope some Ideas help to get an overall Idea there and what to improve, there is much more left that could be better!-)

Your gear helped me figure out gems more. I'm curious if I should just run those two auras? Am I using the Diadem for later or just using those two auras you have? Your gear looks nice so I'm assuming you know a lot about this game. lol I'm just curious about the auras I need. Your SRS gem setup helped me because the guide said infernal legion and then showed unleash and I was getting so confused. I'll try what you're doing. :)

Doin' quite well in Sanctum with this build so far. I have a question AGAIN, me sorry. Just wondering how I craft or look for a "trigger wand"? I want to try that really bad, but then I look and the updates to the gear don't even show a trigger wand. Just a lil confused. Thanks!

A trigger wand just means a wand with crafted "trigger socketed spell when you use a spell".

You get that craft from syndicate by unveiling weapons.
The craft it self is a suffix.
So you could take a convocing wand, use some essences of fear until you have an open suffix and see usable stats and then craft the "trigger" on it.
If you don't have the craft yet you could ask in global chast, many will have it. I'd recommend /global 6666

Hey there Weo_, I would just like to thank you so much for such a fun, enjoyable build. I did buy a wand with what you suggested finally. I know I'm still noobish, but I've come along quite a ways now with the build. I'm trying for more survivability before damage so that I can keep going more easily through maps. I have successfully done T16's. This build is VERY viable for the actual Sanctum runs. You can just cast real fast and run around til they 'splode on them. Then get your lil coins and keep on a truckin'. It's a very nice alternative to the meta builds I see for this league.

I especially would like to call attention to your utmost detail when mitigating ailments and creating such an amazing survivable character. I've been out-surviving friends and I feel cool as heck because of it. lol! If you ever have time, I'd be so grateful to have your opinion on improving what I have so far. Such as specifically, is my tree ok, what would you upgrade next? I want to learn the in's and out's of this build because I'm seriously considering using this build more often for leagues. It's very chill and forgiving. Bless ya for creating such a nice guide/build. :)

UPDATE EDIT: Also I am running into some issue where my minions won't blow up. Some of them live so long they just go away instead of blowing up. Happens worse when with a friend. I tried taking out anything about leeching life but some of those jewels for the build with feasting fiends, that's not why is it? I don't know what's up, I just wish they'd blow up cause when they do, the damage is awesome. lol

Shield: Either get a Aegis Aurora or a rare shield with "Recover #% of Life when you Block" and some other usable stats like Life, Resistances, Minion Life, Minion Damage, +1 Level to Minion Skill Gems

Body Armour: Bestcase would be an Armour with "increased Effect of Offerings", "You can apply an additional Curse", "Minions have #% increased life"

Amulet: No need to Annoint Utmost Swiftness, your dex should be enough.
You could improve on the Chaos Resistance, the less the Better.

Gloves:
The only relevant stats on your Gloves are the Aspect and the Lightning Res.
You could improve them by using a couple of "Essence of Fear" on them until you get some Life, a Resistance and an open suffix.
from there you can craft the "Aspected of spider" on them, by using beastcrafting.

Once again beastcraft the Aspect of the Spider and then bench craft "Minions Deal #% increased Damage" and use some Exarch Embers to get another "Minions deal #% increased Damage"

- Use Essence of Fear until you have two good suffixes (Some Resistances, or an open Suffix for Aspect of the Spider if you haven't gotten it on the Gloves or any other gear piece)
- if you have any prefixes besides the fractured Movement speed
-- use an Exarge Ember (Lesser Ember is fine as long as the boots don't also have eater of world on the Boots)
-- use "Eldritch Orb of Annulment" until all prefixes besides Movement Speed are gone.
- Craft "Suffixes cannot be changed"
- Aisling T4 Slam (don't unveil yet!)
- craft mana
- unveil, choose increased Armour and Energy shield with max life
- craft max life

None of your jewels (Besides Stormshroud and Fortress Covenant) really help you. :-/

you are Looking for Ghastly Eyes with
+# to Maximum Life
Minions have #% increases maximum Life
Mionins deal #% increased Damage if you used a Minion Spell recently

and a single Ghastly Eye with "#% Chance to avoid being shocked" instead of the Minion Life or Minion Damage. And it has to be atleast +46% chance to avoid:

You have to put the jewel with the avoid being shocked into your Belt, with that you reach 100% chance to avoid Elemental Ailments (you are at 20% currently).

Flasks:
Drop the Rotgut and the Witchfire, Both don't help you.

Cluster Jewels:
Get the Ones I have in the PoB and the Guide.

Note: The "Dread March" you have on your medium clusters make your SRS die Slower!

Passive Tree:
Look at the tree in the PoB, there are at least two points you can save and put somewhere else. (The two small int nodes next to the jewel socket on the far left)

Skills:
drop Vaal Grace, get Skitter Bots instead

Your Desecrate has to be socketed in your wand BEFORE Bone Offering. Meaning, when yoi look at the item ingame, DEsecrate has to be in the top most socket, then Bone Offering

Get a Stone Golem instead of the Flame Golem

You don't need the Enlighten.

Get an Animate Guardian, Check the Guide for its Gear.

Your Hextouch Setup likely doesn't work.
you need a Spell you hit the enemies with, eg. Ball Lightning, Wave of Conviction or anything else. Currently your Hextouch supports your "Raise Spectres" that Skill doesn't hit anything.



PS: I'm not sure why your SRS don't die when you play with a friend.
Maybe he gives them Chaos Resistance which makes them take so few damage that they don't reach low life before they timeout.

The Boots I described in the post above could look something like this when done:




NOTE: when you unveil (after you have crafted mama) you will have to option with life to choose from. One with increased armour+energy shield and one withama regen.
Take the first one, with armour and energy shield, since the second one blocks crafted life...(learned that the hard way....)

I knew my character was a mess, but I'm getting more on track now. Running out of currency but I'll get there. I changed the amulet. What do you think would be a good anoint, please? I also don't understand the Aegis Aurora. My energy shield is on my mana now, so why would I need ES on block?

Aegis Aurora is a good shield in general, not only for it's es on block.

What I forgot to mention is, that you could go for "mind over matter" on the tree when you have es on block.

You might want to craft "non channelling skills have -x to mana cost" when you do that though. Otherwise you could loose your es from dot or some none blocked hits and will be unable to dash/charge out of danger.

Additionally you can take "divine shield" on the tree, to get even more es on block.
