Trading-tipps for leaguesstart Day One are added on HoA-Necro page 122 in the 3.27-news

There are already many Foulborn Skin of Loyals, +20% quality of socketed gems, that means a lot HoA-damage, for 6 chaos available in trade, and medium clusters for 1 chaos. Smooth!

Allmost all other gear is already cheap available too.

Aegis auroras 2 div are much cheaper as in last leagues day one. 3.26 they were traded 3-4 div.

United in dreams is good used as starter weapon after Cybil's paw, 1 chaos, strong foulborn-mods also available. Do not use Envy. Get Unholy might or +30% quality to all minion gems.

In place of a watcher's eyes roll or buy a shaper ring life on spellhit, 5 chaos.
Then you can switch Cybil's paw to the United in Dreams or +3 Cold Iron Point dagger.

Only circles of nostalgia are 35 chaos, last league they were early traded 2 chaos. Path to one more reservation- or mana-mastery or to "presage" before you get one.

Yes, there are much steps of progression, so there are both ways shown in spoilers: TL;DR, Checklist stats and the gear progression for each slot and stat.

This league is so cheap to get good gear, so a few intermediate steps like helmet Eber`s Unification before +2 rare helmet or Skin of Loyals before Skin of Lords are not needed.

Yes, Heart of Flame is good, beside with str/resis, further for qol the shocked ground, or also saps or later with HoA-crits brittle.

Xophgraft Heart of Flame, 80% dr, 5.7k buffer, adds further str or fire-resis
>> Replicating Eshgrafts, proccing Shocked ground, equal to 7% more dps, automatical triggered, chosen for quality of life
>> Summoning Tulgraft, Brittles, 2% crit-base to scale up the HoA-crits
>> Draining Eshgraft, Saps, 6% flat dr
>> Aegis Tulgraft, 4k elementla aegis guardskill

Sanctums - Adapting HoA: Spiders and Skeleton Archers


Yes, HoA is really not an optimal skill for Sanctums and is designed to facetank a lot instead running a rogue-like like sanctum.

Probably the best minions for Sanctums are the aggressive Spiders of Arakaali's fang. They deal damage also around dungeon corners.

Switch the Sin's Rebirth flask to Writhing Jar, switch Withering Step to Withering Touch in the weapon-supports.

Visit "gear" --> weapon --> alternatives.

Or srs are easy to be bult in with convenant and severed in sleep.

Or add in Skeleton Archers, they synergize well with all HoA-supports, chaos-conversion and withers too.

Good geared the skeleton archers can be simply inserted into the HoA-links. Or switch HoA completely out.

Switch pierce out, it's not needed in sanctum.

Get one medium clusters blessed rebirth + renewal.
Also phantasms can be linked in for more meatshields.

(Guided on necro-psge 122 in the Keepers-news in Lycia-Bloodline and in "poe-content"-->"Sanctum".)


Further Lycia has 2 oneshots - one attack and one aoe, almost impossible to tank.
Best is to study her patterns (in t17 and youtube).

I go Discipline > Vitality > Determination corpses-spectres.

Then last Zealotry-spectre for desecrated ground for more qol and uptime of the bitter heresy bloodline, or carnage chieftain for 2-3 frenzy charges.

Damage is much, much more than needed, so balancing into qol and tankyness is often more fun.

The HoP-variation is not updated since long times, sorry.
With dark monarch and Lycia-bloodlines HoP should be good scaleable as bossing-minion again, in maps HoP has some downsides.

Yes, in 3.27 heralds got one of the by far best bloodlines, the cheap 500M-HoA or the expensive 4B are strong. Also already from 70M onwards the HoA is perfect fitting for eg farming hives.
