Hey man, decided to try your build as a league starter, been enjoying it so far but looking for some advice on what you think my priorities in terms of gear/skill tree should be? I haven't followed your guide completely but used it more as a basis, for example I haven't gone left yet to get all the life nodes and a few other small things.

" Ok few things to note: 1. Your bow is worse than a well-rolled Death's Opus, so you should change that. 2. Why is your build tree taking all those projectile nodes? (Trick Shot, Split Shot, Piercing Shot)? Also why are you taking those extra nodes near Primeval force? 3. With the above points re-specced you should've been taking these nodes instead: Master Fletcher, King of the Hill, Claws of the Hawk, Soul Raker. 4. I'm assuming you're using mana flasks because you don't have mana leech source. With Soul Raker allocated, you should be able to free up that slot for a Quartz flask instead. Seriously though, why would you take all those projectile nodes? Just from changing the above your DPS went up from 800k to 1.4m (almost double). You have a serviceable bow, but it's not much better than a Death's Opus, maybe think of using a few harvest crafts (reforge keep prefix) on it and see if you hit any crits / attack speed? Also there are better benchcraft options than the one you have (chance to deal double damage, attack speed, crits, etc.) 2. Awakened gems 3. Skitterbot enchant so you can link Bonechill 4. " You're in endgame optimization now, so things will be expensive. Few things left you could still do: 1. Watcher's Eye 2. Intimidate glove 3. Elusive boots 4. Better crit multi jewel 5. Not sure you're using frost bomb / purifying flame as your CWDT setup, as the POB shows multiple skill. But if purifying flame then you can tick 'Enemy on Consecrated Ground' 6. Further upgrade to your bow (probably leave it last though) When upgrading your rares and balancing the build's resistance, remember you can always change your helmet to a rare piece with resistance to make it easier. " The -mana cost on ring does not do anything to the reservation, it only reduces mana cost of normal skills. Please check back your POB, you have 2 copies of Herald of Ice running and one of them is linked to multiple support gems which raises your mana reservation. HoI should be unlinked and have only 1 copy running, and your mana reservation should be ok. My Youtube channel guide:

I've worked around another decent upgrading path for the endgame bow in terms of DPS, but you'll lose the +1/2 additional projectile, making Dying Sun near mandatory. But chances are you will gain a huge DPS boost with this method.
1. Obtain a base bow with high APS, ilvl 83, with Shaper influence. Craft 6L on it beforehand as you will be linking the skill here. You can do so with increasing quality to 40%+ with perfect fossil then crafting additional quality if you're spamming the fusing yourself. The top 3 IMO are Thicket Bow, Imperial Bow & Spine Bow. Honestly they are very comparable to each other. 2. Alteration spam until you hit 'Socketed Skills deal 20% more Attack Damage' with no other shaper mods. 3. Obtain another hunter-influenced bow with 'Adds (1-2) to (3-4) Cold Damage to Attacks with this Weapon per 10 Dexterity' with no other hunter mods on it. You can either alteration spam it yourself or buy 1 off the market. I chose shaper base initially because that mod has a higher weight than the cold-dex mod so it's easier to hit with alteration. 4. Use Awakener Orb and transfer the hunter-influenced bow with added cold damage per 10 dex mod to the shaper bow with the socketed skills deal 20% more damage mod. Your new bow will have the 2 mods guaranteed (provided you didn't screw up the steps) and possibly a 3rd random prefix. Chances are we will have to sacrifice the 3rd prefix slot, but if it's open then you can benchcraft it first to block the slot before you harvest craft anything on it. 5. Use harvest-craft reforge keep prefix until you get 1 of the crit / attack speed mods and 2 open suffix. This step is flexible as at any stage you may have gotten lucky and get 2 / even 3 beneficial suffix mods on your bow, at which point you're done. Assuming you don't just aim for 1 beneficial mods and 2 open suffix. 6. Use Aisling's 'add a veiled mod to a rare item' 7. Unveil craft and hope you hit beneficial mods: - % chance to deal double damage - % increased attack speed, % to quality - % critical strike chance, % to quality - % attack speed while a rare / unique enemy is nearby - $ critical strike multiplier If you didn't get any beneficial mods, repeat from step 5. 8. Depending on step 7, you can complete your suffix with benchcraft for whatever you didn't get. In terms of DPS, this method can give you up to 50% more DPS over a Death's Opus, but without the source of additional projectiles. The build does not use Barrage so losing them is not much of a loss except for clearing, which you will want to use Dying Sun. First, thank you for this build! I did it as league start and slowly improved over time. I realize I'm in min/max mode now but was wondering if you could still give your opinion on the best way to go forward with upgrades.
I'm not rich but I did find a Doctor card so I have about 20 ex. Should I get Bottled Faith for boss damage or replace frost bomb with purifying flame? Wasted several Ex worth of Alts trying to get 2 additional arrows but never got it. I got even luckier with corrupting my voidflecther as it was the first one i bought!And my belt considering I found that and hunter slammed the %life even though its t2 Anyways, looking forward to your response and thanks again for the build! | |

Hi there;
a few days before Leaguestart i got the idea to play Deadeye again - as for the chain/ricco/tailwind. And because of never done so to play with claws. First tried with chaos and it was ok until T5-maps. Then decided to go with cold as addition, then cold with a little chaos on top - comfortable at T10 as far with ugly gear (i do not like to trade as much and crafting - no clue). The tree was very similar to yours but because it felt squishy with the chaos respecct to more life and sacrified dmg. Found the skitterbots and decided to go further with cold-dmg as safe and stable alternative. Decided to have a look at the forum-guides for inspiration how to improve. Found yours and just want to thank you. I can easily adopt some ideas to my "build" and, if it breaks at higher maps, can transform over to bow with no further respecc other the left (duellant) side. As a special i found gearing options from your build which will help to improve my survibility and dmg. Thank you. IMO Frost bomb is wasted on the build due to exposure of Hydrosphere & Frostbomb not stacking, only takes the highest value of the exposure (you only get an extra 5% exposure from frostbomb 15% over hydrosphere 10%) 2. Awakened gems, definitely. 3. Better crit multi jewel (double crit multi + life roll) 4. Watcher's Eye with Precision & Hatred 5. Intimidate gloves & Elusive boots 6. Higher rolled Mark of the Elder & Replica Hyrri's Truth, with 20% quality damage catalysts. 7. You can go for Bottled Faith if you want. 8. Slot in some chaos res if you can on your gears. Like you've mentioned, it's min-max territory now so don't stress yourself too much on these final leg of the build. You should consider your build as 'done' for the most part.
