Secondly, I found a small Quality of Life change that I think works well for me while mapping:

I got gloves that adds Poison to socketed skills, so I added a culling strike to the links (Ball Lightning, GMP, Spell Echo, Culling Strike + Poison from gloves).

It makes the uptime of the spiders much better/smoother while mapping for me. I hope someone finds this useful.

Yes, rare gloves with integrated skills like poison, faster casting/ cyclone faster attacks, culling strike, slower projectiles, blindings are a good choice.

To get full continious 55-60 virulences Best are rare gloves with faster casting, slower projectiles, high energyshield (75 and more) and if you miss on other gearslots dex-attributes.

Culling strike is optimal for mapping, but not on bosses, they are resistant.
