[3.18] Gryph's Tank Simulator - A Detonate Dead Ignite Elementalist

For those of you who haven't, get a Sinvicta for weapon swap. I don't use it for all mapping because you have to stop and go with the league mechanic, but when I get Delirium maps or pop a Breach or do other high density league content it's ridiculously powerful.

I'll try Obliteration! I've been using Razor for the sustain while mapping and have a decent Sceptre for bosses that gives me about 17% more DPS than the Razor.

Got my Fan the Flames, Enduring Composure, and Phantasmal yesterday. Made the gem with a Prime Regrading Lens, took me 5 tries. Just need to level that up to 20 now. Probably go for awakened gems next then empower/enhance lv4.

After that it's all super expensive upgrade so we'll see how it goes!


Edit: Testing Obliteration in a few more maps with higher density. I take it back, this shit is awesome!

Pretty underwhelmed with Obliteration. Clear feels the same as with Razor, only difference being the pops feel more satisfying than the prolif just burning everything. Doesn't clear any faster than the prolif though. Back to Razor for me.

Heh, I was just trying the other way round, and found noticeably slower clear - maybe 30-40% slower? I likely have a lot more DPS, so am popping everything immediately, perhaps that makes a difference. Or just - to each his own.

Though I did also try maven with obliteration, which really didn't go well.

Does fan the flames really make a big difference? I figured the prolif would be enough to clear.

it's only for if you have an explosion source (IE: Crusader Chest piece). This allows the explosions to proliferate. If you do not do this, you do not need it and can just use prolif gem.

It's an improvement over cover in ash from the tree, however it's over 5ex that could be invested into other gear...

Ok tested Oblit on more maps due to you being so sure and yeah I think my first tests I didn't have enough density because once I got it up higher it made a big difference.

Yeh, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a way to boost your damage by more, for that 5ex.

Edit. Nvm, Elementalist better.

I did some math with unearth corpse life. I looked at the life increases from 80 until 90 on a level by level basis and noticed that in the last levels the increase is always reduced by around 1.2%.

Based on this assumption the corpse life on lvl 95 could be around 133.4k
