Ah, that's a good one too - we gain 7 passive points at the cost of two jewel sockets, even if we take the small nodes like 4% damage recouped as life, or 14% damage if you've consumed a corpse. So I guess it's down to whether you're using the other sockets or not.

I guess that even if you're using all your jewel sockets, you could spend those 7 getting the lower left cluster jewel socket too (4) then adding a large, and trading two of those small passives for, effectively, two large cluster jewel notables (9). (Plus 16% armour gained, 10 dex & 50 int lost, which is actually mildly painful, given the wand I use)

You put 300k in POB,but your calculation on the first page says 140k

I thought the formula is Level X Archer (1.4) X corpse life % increase

How can this formula makes the corpse 300k in POB ?

So in my case, the unearth gem says "spawns corpses with level 90", then 5 from the hat, so my base life is 133k. Then with 79 quality, 158% max life, then 20 more from the tree, so 178% life.

133 * 2.78 = 370k.

Edit: oh, and it's * 2.78 rather than 1.78 because 10% increased maximum life means * 1.10, so 178% increased maximum is 2.78

That explains why my POB has so little damage XD

I think I spent like 10-15ex just trying to get some semblance of a build going, and I failed miserably haha.

+3 or +4 gloves, watcher's eye, quality (and level) on DPS support links seem the best places to start.

I think you should get the following before starting:

Single target : Phan Unearth, +3/4 gloves, helmet enchant

Clear: cluster jewel (Fan of flames)/ bereks ring, explosion chest

Defense: Aegis shield

Getting the above should be able to start mapping

I also suggest using grace instead of malevolence if you feel squishy in mapping!

Then you get the weapon, watchers eye, amulet, elevated boot and helm ignite, synth rings, +5 gloves.

This build starts to feels very good once you invest 30-50 ex + , super tanky, insane clear, good dps. But before that, I think you will have a better time with desecrate.

Hi! I am a bit confused about your choice of different cluster jewels with various skills (I have seen 3 variations in your pastebin links). Which combination is the ultimate or at least is the best for damage (I don't mind clearing speed - it's ok for me, I want more single target damage)?

I broadly agree, though I don't think you need explosion & fan the flames. It's nice to have, but as single target matters more than in the past, I'd rather spend my money in that direction instead of cleaer.
