3.23 EXPLOSIVE ARROW BALLISTA ELEMENTALIST - League-Start to End-Game. Easy mode.

If I want to upgrade my bow, do I go for:
A. A bow with 16% atk speed or higher (mine is 13%)
B. A bow with same 13% atk speed but with more damage over time multiplier

POB says that B gives me around 500K more damage compared to A

Your next upgrade should be an Unnatural Instinct Jewel, and a new Quiver or Bow are also Upgrade Options.

Hey, I need some suggestion on my next upgrades in my build.

I thought to buy the unnatural jewel to finish my jewel setup.

Or maybe do I need to buy few gem 21/20 like EA, Lifetap, Purity of Element ? (i'm actually lvling gem in my second slot weapon to corrupt)

Or maybe just mid/max build like getting better quiver or +1 fire amulet etc ?

Or maybe I'm missing something very important I don't have ? (I'm actually making endgame content like maven, uber elder, T16 etc.)

I'm also asking me If I really making 20 fuses ?
My math is 2.02 (AS) * 6 (totem) * 1 (100% hit chance) * 3.17 (duration) = 38
It's quite above so is it correct and if yes does the duration is not to high ?

I'm not the best but I would tell you to go for a +3 bow (+2/+1)
Also go for Watchtower anoint to get the 6 totems if you don't have 6.
Try to get more accuracy to hit the 100% of Hit chance cause your not hiting the 20 fuses.

1.82*5*0.69*2.74 = 17 fuses if I'm right

so for the moment try to get the 20 fuses and after go for +3 bow it's not very expensives

you can also craft the quiver with a two-point quiver base and essence of doubt for accuracy and a empty suff for attack speed

I don't know. If it's fuses duration, I don't know where to see the stat.

But I thought the fuses exploded when the ignite finished.

You have multiple problems. In general you are lacking a bit attack speed and accuracy, especially accuracy. Normally you can compensate one bad stat with others. But you have low fuse duration (which is fine generally) but your attack speed AND accuracy is low and the accuracy is not only low, its insanely low. You simply do not hit.

Get a two-point quiver. This always has accuracy as implicit. You can get + to Accuracy Rating on Rings, Amulets, Quiver, Bows and Gloves. You are also missing Precision Aura. You NEED this. There is no way around this.

You can also get a Thread of hope and place it on the right side, to get 2 accuracy nodes



1 is where you place the thread of hope with Large Radius and take the 2 nodes I numbered to get more accuracy.

Using any or all of these ways to increase accuracy, will increase your DPS already.

Another cheap thing you can do, is getting more fuse duration. at the top left in the tree, you can take damage over time mastery. This gives you ballistas more time to put fuses into the enemy before they blow up to increase damage but slowing down clearspeed a tiny bit.

You should also get Watchtowers on the right side either by directly skilling it or by annointing your amulet. Currently you only have 5 maximum totems. Having 1 more token increases your damage.

Edit: You have Purity of Elements, even though you already have enough resistances, so you can maybe switch that out for the above mentioned Precision. Additionally, if you can make another slot free, you can use a ice golem for more accuracy.
