Hi,

could anyone still playing this build offer me some pearls of wisdom, please?

I'm really struggling with it right now. OK my gears not endgame, but I have tried to invest into it as much as I'm able to.

My main problem is that a feel really glass cannon. I die pretty much every t15+ map at least once when putting in a few scarabs, tried to do maven witnessed shaper and elder and failed them, can't really progress past lvl94 right now.

My damage also doesn't feel as high as POB reports it should be. I feel like I've put something together wrong.

I guess I have about 7ex right now to spend and was saving for an unnatural instinct jewel next but will invest elsewhere if that would help more?

If there are any suggestions that are cheaper than the big save for the unatural instant jewel then im happy do do that first if it helps me out.

I also have a better bow cooking right now but it still needs to be 6l and a bit more crafting.

Great advice from ILjXYZ.

In addition, you have added fire damage on your bow. You can't have that for the same reason ILjXYZ mentioned.. it messes your EE.

You shouldn't be struggling at T15s with your gear.

I just started league a few days ago and I am already farming T16's comfortably wearing a tabula and non-leveled gems.

One thing I noticed at a quick glance was your flasks. Get defensive flasks rather than offensive.

I would also recommend taking Bastian of Elements instead of Shaper of Storms. Shaper of Storms would be best once you have all your defences sorted and want to start maximising DPS.

I just have 2 things to add after a short look:

1. Check out alternate versions of Smoke Mine: 10% attack speed and longer effect.

2. POE has changed alot in regards to chaos damage from monsters in the last 5-7 leagues with more and more chaos damaging monsters added to the game.
So with no chaos resistance without flask is not really recommended or fun.

Regarding Chaos Dmg, you may be right. (It's so fricking hard to tell, as the game doesn't really tell us anything regarding dmg taken)

I was running with a +80%chaos res ring for a while, but I didn't notice much difference, to be honest. So I switched it out for 10%DPS Ring. But i might go back..having +50%+ Chaos Res should really be a nice buffer.

I have checked trade and the cheapest skin of the loyal with correct corruption is 12 exalted and has the wrong colours ! So did you get lucky with just 8 ex ? Which week of the league did you buy yours ?

Looks like it may be hard getting one now, you are right. Player numbers are way down already and supply kinda stopped. It doesn't have to be a Skin of the Loyal, though. There's plenty of different interesting +4Double Corrupts out there. (Brass Dome...hnnngg)

Careful Brunowa: "Added Fire Damage" (local) is a local bow modifier and totally fine, it doesn't get added to the Arrows. Only "fire Damage to Attacks" do (which he has/had on his ring). PoE loves confusing wordings :)

After all this time, this still makes no sense to me. The question always comes to mind - so exactly what *is* affected by local modifiers on a bow, if not the arrows? Is there some skill I'm missing where you walk up next to someone and beat them with the weapon? Strangle them with the string, perhaps?

Interesting... Didn't know that. I feel like I need to test that.

Brass Dome sure, but the rest no. Skin of loyal has the +1 to all and global defense, which makes it interesting alot.

I'm looking for obvious mistakes first. I'm getting into the higher maps and I'm having survivability issues. I started with OP's skills and then switched to Path of Exile Builds skills to attempt more defense. Poe.ninja top builds have some diverse choices for supplemental skills. I'm open to suggestions.

I'd like to be able to calculate how many fuses I'm getting. There was a formula listed in the OP but I'm confused on POE where the numbers are to make a calculation.

I have about a 200c budget to make immediate, cheap fixes (I just burned 4Ex on the bow). I also need some long term goals.

Doing a meta analysis on top poe.ninja builds I noticed a few things that I should be going for:

I need a Watcher's Eye.
I need Awakened/Divergent skills, fully leveled.
Top builds link Enlighten Support to aura skills.
Top DPS builds use Malevolence.
I'm way low on Armor/Evasion.

I appreciate any time you take to comment.

Hello, you need better gear from start, snatch a +1 fire gem amulet(pretty cheap this league) better implicits on gloves(pretty easy too and free if you got a few lower tier eldritch ember), clusters and switch to the lifetap version very good quality of life.

Appreciate the reply. Is running four Lifetap supports the way to go then? I'll get on gear upgrades right away.

Hey, OP here.

I am in a similar situation to you. I have just started in league and have just completed my atlas. I have spent about 7ex on gear and I am comfortably farming juiced T16's. I spent 2ex on Bow, 2ex on chest, 2ex on cluster, and about 1ex for everything else.

From my point of view, you are prioritising the wrong things. You need to prioritise defence, and not DPS, at this stage of the game. DPS will be enough with shitty gear, so you don't need to invest in things like a Polaric Devastation.

So here are my quick observations:
1) Use Bastian of Elements ascendency and not Shaper of Storms. Only Swap to Shaper of Storms when you are "done levelling" your character... whatever character level that is for you. You don't want to be dying as you are still leveling up your character.

2)Spec out of Accuracy Mastery. You don't need that.

3) Spec out of Mana Mastery. You don't need that.

4) Spec out of Vitality reservation. You don't need that.

5) Change Polaric Devastation for a better ring with life/res/ele dmg/attack speed/accuracy.

6) Get gloves with spell suppression.. they are cheap

7) Make sure your resiss are capped

8) Get a quiver with similar stats but inclusive of DOT

9) Use Lifetap so you are not using mana

10) Don't use Blood Rage at this stage of the game.

11) Get Awakened Burnign Dmg and Awakened Deadly Ailments. They are cheap.

At this stage of the game, you don't need Watchers, Enlighten, or Malevolence etc... You just need to stay alive, level up, and continue filling out tree (go into clusters). Then once your tree is done, start looking for those top-end upgrades.

Check out my character if you want to see where I am (currently level 92 with 7ex invested approx).
