[3.27] Ice Dancing God - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything

After another look in PoB, it appears that BBD can indeed replace Rational Doctrine for a bigger benefit than Natural Affinity. RD gives you about 10% MORE damage. NA gives 20% (plus 10% less damage taken) after standing still for 5 sec. But even half of that is already better than RD. And standing still for at least 2-3 sec is very easy in any boss fight.

Replacing RD with BBD gives you 13% MORE damage. I guess that is worth spending 70-80 div when you have everything else.

Replacing Fertile Mind gives only 8% MORE damage (down from 13% MORE on replacing RD). And you lose about 500 ES from lower total Int compared to RD replacement.

You do gain ~20 Dex that may or may not help meeting the Dex requirement on the chest. But that's probably not the best way to do it.

Well, crap! I forgot to un-check Profane Ground in Configuration when replacing Rational Doctrine. That jewel actually gives us 15% MORE damage and is the most valuable among the ones considered here. Not replacing it.

So then the choice is between Natural Affinity and Fertile Mind. With the latter being the better option.

Replacing FM with BBD gives you ~9% MORE damage, ~900 ES, and ~22 Dex.

For a small price of only ~70-85 div... Diminishing returns are really diminishing when it comes to the final touches on the full build.

You seem to be missing the third ring slot. Your helical rings don't have quality. You have only 8% int on your helm.

But quite likely you can kill anything in the game already with your current gear, so anything more is just a way to spend your currency...

open link in pob, i have 3rd ring, no quality on rigns cos they are mirror items.. ye i miss 2% int on helm and on eshgraft and 1% dmgper int on amulet but i think i have done with this..

you can try recrafting the rings. put 20q on them first. P.S. no one's going to buy your gear, there aren't enough WI players for that.

btw i want to put Bound By Destiny on (for 15% moar int), i see someone else do it and he has a crusared influence whispering ice, how to craft that? rare crusader staff and orb of chance on it?

We talked about this a bit on page 516 where the omen is the best bet. ilvl68+ vile staff + crusader orb and then the omen that guarantees a unique chancing.

k ty but i have this 2 items atm so i don't need to have an influenced WI.
