But yesterday I hit a wall trying sirius (didnt watch a guide before as a challenge, will do next time), simulacrum (wave 21-22) and I cant find what I am missing to fill the huge gap I felt. Better weapons surely but prices seem huge compared to the DPS increase.

Simply a matter of gameplay, really. Also, you should get new gloves, or replace the ring with CoH... There's no need to have both curses on hit, you're just losing the effect of the Profane Proxy, basically.

Gloves with Freeze Prolif are a huge deal, but Temp Chains and using a "real" Despair like you have is indeed more DPS. Maybe get better gloves with the TC CoH, and just replace the Despair CoH ring.

For Sirus it's knowing his skills and how to dodge them all, and for Simulacrum it's about cheesing the fight by standing in areas where enemies don't spawn and off-screening all of it (for later waves).

Also, you're not Spell Suppression capped. You're missing 9%, I think? The in-game tooltip lies, since it adds the "10% on full life".

The lifenode close to mana reservartion between shadow and ranger grants 10% Suppression while on full life, if you have this allocated you want 110% suppression when you check Suppression in game.
