How long does it take to deploy a patch?

There should be something to do or a currency specifically gained from a current system , example Disenchanting a vaald/corrupt item rewards a Fragment or something equaling 1/10 of a key to a end game boss as an example . Or a new system completely . Increasing the use for vaals in general , and still after bricking an item all hope is not lost
