any tips on equipment improvement?

Get better flasks. Remove Survival Instinct.

Beisdes that seems decent enough, you're in the minmaxing stage imo, where you just try to get more of the stats on each item.

-More attack/cast speed on wand and/or +1 minion gems
-More life on helmet or can try going for a 6link (conc+minion dmg + 2-3 minion gem lvl)
-Can probably squeeze in more resist on shield.
-More life on chest, more resist maybe.
-More life on rings
-Definitely more life on boots, only have 31 life.
-More resist on belt
-More damage from abyss jewels
-More life on gloves, more resist.
-More resist on amulet.

Posting my stuff, almost done with all content (uber elder and uber atziri deathless)


Pretty basic wand, nothing special here.


Started crafting helmets. Used a base with "spectre speed" as lab enchant as it gives more dps than "spectre damage" and is cheaper. I settled for Minion Life and Minion Damage prefixes. I wanted one prefix to be +flat life. Minion Damage gives dps to spectres, Minion Life keeps Animate Guardian alive. I guess +3 gems would've been ok instead of Minion Life?


Wanted mainly 15% reduced mana reservation and 5% life on block. You can get pretty good shields if you use live search and are willing to wait. High life was of course also a must. You can often craft little bit more life if there's an open prefix. There are also nice implicits, like 6% inc ms. Remeber to use Beast crafting to reroll rare's numerical values if you get a shield with 3% life on block for example. A lot cheaper than Divines (and set your search range for T1, which is 3-5%).


Quite basic Body Armor. I was lucky and (Leo) slammed resist (and then crafted third resist).


I wanted Faster Attacks support for my Shield Charge and flat dex for Haste. There are other options, but I went with this.


+ms, cannot be frozen and spell dodge. Then as much life and res as you can get. I guess +Spectre level is very good alternative, but I went with utility.


Found cheapish Aul, so went with that.


Vermillion Ring (+% life implicit) with flat dex and open suffix for Endurance Charge craft.


I hunted Unset ring with flat life, percentual life, res and open suffix for Endurance Charge craft and open prefix for Aspect of the Spider craft (doesn't take "craft slot").


Went with Darkness Enthroned. If you don't want ES, this is good option. Almost as much life as normal Stygian Vise and a lot more minion stats if you get good jewels.

Hey kayella thanks for the guide, I did this build on ssf this league and wanted to share you a video in case you wanna add it to your showcase, it was a pure xoph's and pure chayula breachstone, so pretty dope stuff, specially the chayula one cuz the timer is insane.

It was a YOLO attempt but I really needed the blessing, thank god the spectres chew thru everything while my gear isn't the best it can be...

I need to recraft boots for more life, but for now is it better to keep them like this , or to craft more 70 life?

As a general feedback - that's my 3rd league, and alos 3rd fixed build, which I've tried, and without the doubt Slave Drivers Necro works best for me (:

Not only because, I menaged to clear the content, or deal with challenges, but especialty cuz gamplay itself was really enjoyable.

Im having fun with it, but im still dying to random stuff on T15 Maps (thats why i havnt tried elder or uber elder) can somebody give me a tip on my setup?
I know i need better boots, but biside that im a little bit lost here...
Im using "Slave Driver" as Spectres and i have 6.7k Life.

Hi there! Thank you so much for you guide. It has been a blast. Few questions I didn't see answered in previous posts (sorry if they have)

1) I do not have enough Mana to keep my 2 auras and skittlebots up. What did I miss?

2) On your Passive Tree: the placement of your Unending Hunger doesn't have 40 intel within the radius correct? I am seeing only 30.

3) In our 6-link chest:
- I am playing on x-box and finding myself not casting deathmark often at all. Maybe during a boss fight, but if he has adds then it doesn't end up on him. Can I substitute this for Feeding Frenzy or Elemental Army Support?

4) For our curse:
- What do you think of Conductivity + Blind Supports instead of Elemental Weakness + Enhance?

5) For Aura:
- What do you think of Zealotry over Precision?

1) Use mana reservation bonuses. Either Enlighten, or passive points on tree or equipment like:

. Also Aul's amulet makes Haste reserve 0 mana.

2) Intelligence needs to just be in the radius, doesn't have to be allocated

3) Use Feeding Frenzy.

4) Conductivity is not as good as Elemental Weakness. Conductivity's gimmick is giving shock related things. Our Spectres can't shock at all thanks to Elemental Focus support. So Elemental Weakness is better since it gives more -res to enemies.

5) Precision reserves flat amount of mana (manageable), Zealotry reserves percentual amount of mana (non-manageable).
