Hi,
I can't hit the 40% spectre damages from uber lab, but i had "30% increased Elemental Weakness curse effect". Should i keep it ? I don't really understand how the 30% works. Thanks :) |

Killed Uber Elder in my second ever attempt (never made it there with other builds), without watching any videos or tutorials. The damage is just sick and survivability is also excellent, all with a build that personally cost me ~12 ex.

" 1) Hitting 40% spectre damage enchant is astronomically low. There are hundreds of enchants and farming specific one is not recommended. 2) Yes, you should keep it. It's very relevant to your build. Another option is to sell it and buy the enchant you want. Personally I like spectre speed more. It gives more dps and is usually cheaper. 3) Level 20 gem gives 39% reduced elemental resistances to cursed enemies. 30% increased effect means 1,3 * 39% = 50,7%. That's nice improvement. I'm not sure whether the enchant increases gem's quality bonus or not, but even if it doesn't, it's still very good. |

" ... almost fainted. While doing uber lab for this build, first enchant, on a +2 bone helm with +2 (not great, but hey, I was leveling): 40% inc spec damage. Couldn't believe it. Sold it since, made a pretty penny! But ye, as you say, the chance is pretty much.. well... 1/5xx (EDIT: more actually, come to think of it, cause they're weighted, right?). Question about raising spectre's, so when I go to a higher map and then remove my spectre gem while I'm in that map, so that I lose my spectre's temporarily and raise higher ones in the higher map, it seems like when I hit desecrate, it takes about 100 monsters, before I'm able to see a slave driver on the ground.
Is that normal? I'm assuming that we still need to keep raising them in higher level maps right? to get the higher level of slave driver? But anyway, just wondering if that's normal to have to hit desecrate a ton of times just to get one slave driver |

One of the many 3.8 changes for summoners, is that Raise Spectre now sets the spectre level in accordance to the gem level. We no longer need to reraise our spectres as we progress to higher tier maps :)
What I do to get my spectre (Slave Driver) is I go to the Control Blocks in Act 5 with a couple zombies, kill and raise one Slave Driver, go to my hideout and cast desecrate, then target/raise my remaining Slave Drivers.
