Saranghaeyo, many thanks for this and posting info on a bow similar to mine is awesome and I appreciate the time you've taken.

There is a big discrepancy on the DPS tho. Mine is about 8k and with flasks and frenzy 12k. I still cannot see why there is still a massive difference. DPS seems important as you gain a lot if you have some life leach and you also kill faster so aren't as vulnerable.

Similarities.
My skill tree is v. similar to yours apart from I've got heavy draw and you have 3 jewels with hit damage. (I have one)

I have a Harbinger with 49 +32% crit strike. That should be great!

Differences between us.

You have a ring with 20% global crit strike. Is that enough to make a significant difference?

The only other difference then is Pathfinder versus DeadEye

What's the issue with bandits? Does that make a significant difference?

My question is still unanswered. Given all the similarities why is your hit rate so much higher?

Buying kit in the Eu server is v expensive. Bought the signal fire - 28 chaos. A similar belt to yours was also around 30 chaos. I am using which fits most the requirements but no life on it. That also cost 30 chaos some while ago.

Signal fire has made marginal difference and as you point out - it's all elemental damage. Damn.

Can you look at the hit rate question please.

Apologies. DPS. Even with your Budget Bow your DPS is much higher than mine. I cannot fathom this big difference. Mine is now 11k with the Signal Fire. With all the buffs it's 15k only. Yours is a screaming 99,900.

I have made changes as suggested but my life has gone down as a result.

I tried rings and pendant with phys damage and made a small change but now where near the DPS you are getting.

A bug perhaps?

I appreciate you showing a lower DPS bow as at least that stopped me spending on a higher DPS bow.

You have double attack speed which would make a difference

You also have significant life leach on elemental damage. Which is from your flask.

How do you hit all your flasks at once? Is there a way to do that?

How do you gain frenzy? I have frenzy on one of my attacks.

You say you use Herald of Ice to take over? I don't understand that.

I'll PM you. Have made a lot of changes and have attack up quite a bit but DPS still a long way off yours. I'm disappointed over the skill tree as I still think mine (apart from DeadEye) is very similar to yours. Should success of the game be down to being exactly the same?

I hadn't appreciated the reliance on flasks at later stages and will take your advice. However, again we are similar as my life flasks are bleeding and poison immunity. Does it matter that much whether it is silver flask etc? The bets flask is definitely Vessel of Vinktar. Awesome. However, I watched your video and all your flasks were empty so you seem to barely use them. Is that correct? also what was the red circle above your head - Vaal Haste?

Just managed to do lvl 12 Shipyard corrupted which I haven't been able to do before. Just bough Belly of the Beast as well.

I just have to chip in to your conversation and say that you both have helped me alot aswell.

I find myself in a similar situation as David. With alot of quiestionmarks regarding passive points and gear.

I am level 85. And with all buffs activated I have 20k tooltip dps on my lightning arrow.

My understanding is that my bow is a big factor in my overall dps. I've glanced through poe.trade and I believe I've found a few suitable upgrades.



How much difference would a 6L bow with

50% increased Critical Strike Chance

167% increased Physical Damage
+8 to Dexterity
34% increased Critical Strike Chance
+118 to Accuracy Rating
Adds 15 to 28 Physical Damage

A rough estimate would be more than fine for me. I just want to know how big of a difference various items do.

That bow is a bit out of my league now anyway since it is being listed for 4ex, and I can maybe get 2ex right now.

I found it cheaper and easier to get body armour with 6L (or 5L if that helps). Bows with 6L are stupid money. I've just sacrificed 6L armour for Belly of the Beast which was only 5L. I will therefore lose 30% elemental damage which is the gem I was using.

5 and 6 L help a lot as you can setup to do a lot more damage. It's also useful if you have a blue link as sometimes I swapped to a "get x% more Rare items" gem when I wanted to go shopping.

Everyone has recommended Harbinger bows as they have critical strike attached. Other bows recommended Lioneye's Glare as it has a high Attacks Per Second. That's very useful. If you get a Harbinger try and up teh attacks per second. Mine is 1.32.
