Is anyone using Vaal Grace?

I am reluctant to give up Discipline energy shield for a "temporary" dodge chance that would cost me 2 skill points (because i need the 2 dex nodes).

Is it worth it? do people like it?

First things first: I am a noob. Started to play this game a few years back, stopped and restarted now a few weeks back with your guide. So I might not know what I am talking about.

Which aura to run if I do not need Dicipline to have 43% ES?

I am using The Devouring Diadem.

My life is not best atm (4900) but there is no currency to invest in more (expensive) gear.
My ES is >50% of life. 2517 to be exact. Without discipline.
If the ES does not change life could go up to 5853 to have the 43% ratio.


So, which aura is best instead?

In my calculation I can run all 35% auras.

This leave me with:


- Discipline
- Purity of Elements
- Purity of Fire
- Purity of Ice
- Purity of Lightning
- Vitality


So my options are now:

a) Go with Discipline, lose some ES on items and add more life instead.
b) go with Purity of Elemnts and focus on more damage, life and ES on items (but damage is not my problem)
c) dont use the additional aura instead. Invest the passives in life AND waive the 10% non-curse-aura-effect of Sovereignty.

I have the feeling my life is the problem. Not the DPS. Most "normal" T16 bosses go down kind of fast. But for higher bosses I keep dying all the time (watched a lot of videos how to kill them. Kind of understand what to do).

So c) would be the most easy thing to do. But is it the right thing?
I think a) mightnot have the effect I am looking for. It will be hard to get way more life on items atm.

Okay so im playing the Build for quite a while now on console and I am starting to have massive problems in terms of survivability. I have endgame gear, a 6L Agnerod, a high life Vaal Regalia with some Res and Es. The Devouring Diadem, a Vermlillion Ring with Life as well as a Two stone ring with Assasins Mark, Doryanis Delusion and well rolled fingerless Silk gloves and a Stygian Vise. I have a Total of 4930 HP and 3201 ES. I am Res capped, and Chaos Resistance is -18%. I have a Proper Flask Set up and everything. I am currently in early Red Maps (T11 T12) and I am constantly Dying, getting oneshottet etc. I am currently lvl 89 and I checked my Tree Multiple Times it is exactly as Recommended. I am Running Wrath, Discipline, Flesh and Stone and Zealotry. My gems are exactly as recommended in the Build, with Qual and the lvl and all that stuff. I did everything correctly but I am stuck know. I am at 10 Watchstones know and get killed MULTIPLE Times during Conqueror fights. And no its Not my playstyle I play extremely passive and dont rush into mob packs. An my Jewels are also quite Good.. what the hell am I fing wrong? Its my first build and time playing Poe so I am playing Standard. Can someone please give me some advice?
