Is Kitava's Thirst helmet + Arcanist Brand/Desecrate tip still valid? I never see them proc. Other gems in that helmet proc however.
Good build otherwise, returning to the game after a few years absence and it's oneshotting everything. |

I wonder why my CWDT stopped using wave of conviction:( any guesses? does my glove's annointment affect that?

" Can't see your character, but I'd guess it's because you levelled up your WoC gem past cwdt's threshold for triggering it. I'd just buy a new WoC gem from Lily; you're better off keeping it at gem level 1, anyway, to avoid taking extra damage in maps with physical reflect. |

Hi all.
Im a noob at this game, but enjoying the hell out of it. Have played Diablo 3 alot, and needed something knew to get my head around and also cuz i had some hunger to learn something knew. And yeah.... That hunger is not there anymore, im actually full up deluxe! What a game. So much to read, so fun to learn, and an awesome passive skill tree, overwhelmed. :) Have some questions regarding some steps and not leveling up skill gems in this guide thou, have googled around and couldnt find any exact answer. In Act 3 it says: "‣ Keep this Arcane Surge at Lv6 or lower, to proc it with a single use" Dont know if im not familiar with "proc" so its a lack of rendering or whatever, but would appreciate to get that one explained: Why? I have been reading about not lvl up the gem when im not met the requirements, and that i cant be using the gear the gem is socketed in (and also not the gem). But when i meet the requirements, isnt the gem always better when they level up? Actually found the same in Act 4 when i kept reading a bit in the guide, but with no info at all regarding why i should keep it on a lvl, this time on lvl 1: "‣ Get Desecrate from Siosa and keep it Lv1" Just want to know what the heck im doing and why im doing it so i can learn. :) |

" That arc is linked to flame dash which has a low mana cost. Higher level of arcane surge requires higher mana cost to proc it, so you want to keep it lvl 6 thus flame dash would be able to proc it. Desecrate does chaos dmg per sec to you as its level increases, since we only need the corpses and nothing else from it we can just keep it level 1 and have the min amount of chaos damage dealt to us. |

All builds that piques my interest right now are made by people who don't actually play their own builds in the current league... sigh.

He was...he died in Hardcore/SSF. Enki is very supportive of this build and the community playing it....also very helpful.
If you are hesitating due to lack of support....I would say don't hesitate. |

Been true so far with the 3 other build that actually looked interesting to me so that's why I assumed it with this build as well after looking at Enkis profile. With the builds I've looked at they all played their builds a few leagues ago, then after that have just done some minimal testing on Standard based on patch notes before a league and update their guides based purely on nothing but PoB after that. Sorry, I was frustrated. No offence was meant, I hope you can understand. I know that Enki responds to this thread all the time, I played this build in Delve and loved it and he was very supportive to me personally when I asked questions back then. I have been trying it every other league after that. Dumb comment by me without thinking... :( If you read this Enki, which I'm sure you will: sorry. So dumb off me. Yes. Oh, I for sure understand and been there. No offence was taken! Last league I played one of those...and gave up and made a new character when it didn't pan out....that was also the league i made my own build after that happened (first time!!!!!)
I have been playing this build since 2.3 for every other league (except the odd leagues here and there I took off). This is my favorite all time build to play...and better than creating my own (it actually worked well and taught me a lot.....mostly about how much I appreciate folks who make builds like this one). This is a pretty active groups of folks playing this build. Enki is also very supportive. My additional viewpoint....he invests a lot into this build. Every time I play it....it is different. The last time i played (league before last...there were Golems!...I so don't miss them either......I really could not play golemancer.....). |
