This is written in the build guide.
If you have "+1 to Level of socketed Gems" on your chest you should replace Added Lightning Damage gem with a Level 4 Empower gem.
Here it is as written in the guide:
Added Lightning Damage adds lots of flat lightning damage at 90% value due to Arcs damage effectiveness. Replace this with a Lv4 Empower if you have a +1 to Level of socketed Gems chest.
Played this league for 2 weeks, and so far has done shaper, elder and uber atziri.
The only thing left is the uber elder, which I am not sure if I can handle at this point. Below is my gear, what do you think that I should improve from here?
I ended up made it with a lot of chaos damage, and I found % convert to chaos mods are really strong, and may be a better option than going all the way to lightning penetration.

OK, switched to Ahn's and got the watcher's eye. Had to re-work my gear a bunch and had to lose the 3 x Grand Spectrum to fit the fragility jewels and watcher's eye in.
Now I'm finding that my mana sustain isn't great. If I miss mobs with a few attacks my mana drains pretty quickly. Is that normal or did I screw something up?
Originally it was TERRIBLE then I figured out I forgot to cast Wrath...that helps a bunch. My watcher's Eye isn't great, but it's all I could afford. Now I'm broke. Hoping to earn back a few exhalt with the changes.
Maybe I should replace the clear mind jewel with a rare with appropriate damage affects and just run clarity?

This build is great, but I feel like I lack survivability. I just can't survive on some bosses like delve city boss or Minotaur that chain stun you, and with delve bosses the window for attack is so damn small that one mistake results in death. Soul of Brine King helps a bit but it's still not enough, I am currently looking in the direction of Chayula amulet, but losing life for ES seems bad.
Even with Life Leech instead of Added Lightning Damage there are moments when the leech just can't outheal incoming damage. I killed Shaper but I was destroyed by Ahuatotli and Aul and I am afraid of what awaits me at Uber lder...
Overall, the build is awesome for clearing maps and delve, but somehow lacks boss damage which is prolonging the fights and increasing the chance of death.
Here's my current gear. I have watcher's eye with mana leech from lightning damage and %of incoming damage gained as mana. I don't know what else there could buff DPS significantly, except for +1 Inpulsa(yeah never) or +40% Arc damage enchant on helmet.
It may be worth getting a corrupted Cerberus Limb with Cast Speed implicit.

I see that you are using the combo Cerberus Limb + corrupted Ahn's shield. That combo I made in mind of enabling Cerberus leech and get ~400-500 more energy shield, so I could respec ascendancy points Paragon of Calamity and Liege of Primordial to Pendulum of Destruction and Mastermind of Discord. When you do that take out Clarity gem and put in Herald of Thunder! Buy leveled one. That will give you significant dmg boost but you will lose elemental reflect immunity!
Your flask choice is bad. Take out Granite, Sulfur and Quicksilver. Buy Rumi's concoction, Atziri's Promise and Wise Oak flasks!
For Wise Oak to work, your uncapped lightning resistance should be the highest one.
Do all that and come back with feedback. :)

Thank you for suggestion! Judging from PoB, this will give a ton of damage, gonna need some juggling with resists though.
