MC, what is your armour and eva stat? I am torn between the two. In my play I can usually dodge the big hard hitting monsters but I get swarmed by many blues which kills me (can't kill them fast enough yet), suggesting Armour would be better. And it goes with the Belly I'm using. But I like the option of going into Acrobatics by doing Eva. Then there's the CWDT+IC which helps mitigate some of the smaller hits. Thoughts?

What level are you? This build has a bit early problems but it gets much better fast.

So, to summon up all the defenses this build has:

-This build doesn't use many uniques and doesn't need them to work either so you can play with only rares if you want to to stack up Life and Res.
-The main defense besides that comes from the Blasphemy curses we use. Especially Enfeeble is a massive defensive boost. If you can only run 2 and really want to stack up defense you could run Enfeeble, TempChains and even ArcticArmour but I'd recommend using Vulnerability since it boosts our DPS quite a bit.
-We use Whirling Blades with Fortify. If you're in dangerous situations you can always WB out and passively activate Fortify, increasing your def even more.
(+ the Evasion/Armour flask. You can even use Chaos Golem if you want.)

I felt a little squishy at first but now I can quite easily facetank most enemies, but even magic monsters die very fast with all the spreading dots so it only very rarely happens that I get swarmed by some.

Understood. I agree the build is fine defense-wise, but I'm just going thru leveling pains right now. Too poor to buy decent life/res gear. Also I'm running dual curse (Vuln/TC), maybe I'll add AA or third curse later (mana might be an issue).

I am thinking of 5L Lightning Coil or Belly, which will also give me defences (temporarily using Daresso's, the Endurance Charges aren't bad at all for CWDT-IC combo). With the 6th socket I'll put Chaos Golem for sure.

MC can probably answer it a bit more indepth but I think Enfeeble is a more defensive choice. It's 30% less damage received and you can kinda facetank with it.

Whereas TempChains is a mix of both offense and defense. Your ED should last 40% longer (*)when the enemies are under effect of TC and they're far slower, so you can dodge them easier. But you'll have to dodge.

I think it's just personal preference

(*) I'm not totally sure about that to be honest. It's clearly the best 3rd curse and probably better than any other possible gem but it's not as good as Enfeeble.
The only situation the 40% could come in handy is for bosses and you're probably not in the range for it to work.

I don't know what level you are but I wouldn't recommend Cont/ED for early leveling. You can switch to it at around lvl50 but you don't deal enough damage with it until then, altough you can do it.

I honestly don't really know what made me so tanky. It just happened at some point.
For now I would recommend switching TC for Enfeeble if you can. I don't know if you can run AA but I doubt it if you don't have enough currency for decent life/res gear.

Thanks for the help, I'm level 75 lol. The damage is fine with vuln/TC and all the dps nodes on the tree. Working on getting more life on gear which should be huge. I'll shoot you a pm and we'll shoot the shit. Cheers

Go for TC + Enfeeble curses. Vulnerability is 3rd priority.
As for 4L, drop Poison and Empower.

Didn't try uber yet, will try sometime in the near future.

Any advice on leveling this build? Like, ANY advice? I am in act 4 cruel, and it takes forever... and i mean forver to level up with this build, and i am level 60 now, so i need like 3-4 levels to be able to use Bino´s, but just getting to 61 is killing me.

Any advice will be appreciated!

@woot - hey dude. As said in the guide, this build needs patience in the early leveling, and yes the curses boost you alot defensive and offensive wise. Keep going :-) good luck!

How about using Vaal Lightning Trap + GMP somewhere ?
I`m not really sure of where to socket it.
Maybe use it instead of wither totem? I don`t have nearly as much experience with this build as you do, but I`ve found Wither to be very, very underwhelming. Whereas Vaal Lightning trap is pretty amazing on previous Caustic Arrow builds I've played.
