Geofries:
Gives unneeded amounts of energy shield at the cost of the above.

This is only my opinion though. I find 11k Ehp along with bone armour aswell as VMS plus our general survivability more than enough to keep us alive.

Yeah with the massive amounts of added strength from the introduction of 3.9 we should be more than good ^^

Why can't I trigger all the auras? I did as you said. Here's the armor and boots. In the skill tree, everything is taken.

I can’t see your tree on my tablet, but I should be able to help break it down for you. I’m assuming 14% on your tree, but if I’m wrong you will have to correct that yourself.

Sources of Reduced Reservation
- 10% Saqawal’s Nest
- 1% Corrupted jewel
- 14% From tree
- 16% Enlighten for Pride, Purity, DB only
- 115% Maim for F&S only (separate multiplier)

Pride
= .50 * (1 - .10 - .01 - .14 - .16)
= .295
= 30%

Purity of Elements
= .35 * (1 - .10 - .01 - .14 - .16)
= .2065
= 21%

Dread Banner
= .10 * (1 - .10 - .01 - .14 - .16)
= .059
= 6%

Aspect of the Avian
= .25 * (1 - .10 - .01 - .14)
= .1875
= 19%

Flesh and Stone
= .25 * (1 - .10 - .01 - .14) * 1.15
= .215625
= 22%

Add it all up and you have a total reservation of 98%. You either don’t have a large enough mana pool for 2% mana to cast Cyclone (you do), you didn’t take all 14% on the tree, or something else I’m not seeing. I’m tired...sorry if anything is off.

Edit: It also may be that on your profile you don’t have Enlighten socketed in your boots.

I'd go for one with fortify instead. The flat minion damage is very low compared to other alternatives.

so the 100%+ minion damage isnt as good as fortify?
would something like this be the most viable end game weapon then?
opens up a slot for another mod on the ring as well

You know what, I’ve miscalculated it all this time :/. Enlightened is an individual multiplier; it doesn’t stack with reduced mana reserved. Oops. And I’m at a bit of a loss as to why F&S is only 21%.

Pride
= .50 * (1 - .10 - .01 - .14) * .84
= .315
= 32%

Purity of Elements
= .35 * (1 - .10 - .01 - .14) * .84
= .2205
= 22%

Dread Banner
= .10 * (1 - .10 - .01 - .14) *.84
= .063
= 6%

Qlida picked up Champion of the Cause in 3.8. He may be wanting you to go down there. I can’t pull any of that up. It may also be he wants you getting two 1% corruptions. I don’t see any clarification in the guide, and it doesn’t look like Qlida has geared to that point yet.

Personally I plan on skipping out on F&S altogether and linking Maim in with Cyclone. If I recall correctly you can then completely drop Enlighten and only need 10% reservation on the tree instead of 14% (allows for 6% aura effect node). The three extra gem slots go to Chaos Golem + Feeding Frenzy and Generosity linked to Dread Banner. The Feeding Frenzy buff is still quite potent.
