Any tips of keeping Animate Guardians alive?

Level 19 gem + 2 levels from helmet - Solaris Lorica (all I had around), Leer, Victarios, Dying Breath and Southbonds - doing well for about 10 maps but then I complated a map and noticed he was missing...

Looked back through the Win10 'instant replay' and he died in a one-shot hit from a Delirum mob

I also noticed he almost died standing on burning ground in a map - the only piece of burning ground around and he chose to stand on it - really!?

I don't mind the expense of that level of gear but I'm not buying 40c axes to lose like that - Trading for all that stuff is tiresome also (would it kill them to allow you to blueprint the guy for a price?)

My gear isn't that great but for shits and giggles I juiced a map up to 100% delirium t16 with all the bells and whistles and my damage was pretty laughable.

Anybody have success doing t16 100% deliriums? What kind of ex investment would I have to make in order to do them?

Yeah, ive done a few. its not bad, damage and minion health is there, but you have to be careful not to die yourself.

Think my gear is less than 50ex, but that's without skill gems.

most of the time spent is picking up loot tbh

How tough is the Fortify +1 Socketed Gems to craft.

I've been trying and either of the above are not terribly rare by themselves but rare enough to know that once I get one of them, the odds of hitting the other is pretty slim.

Currently just running +1 to level of Socketed gems while working on the other.

Is it league viable or basically just standard where I have lots of currency?

Yes.

Noob question here, before I spend my money on awakened level 6 skills.
Can they benefit from being level 9? ( with mods +1 to level of socketed gems, +2 to level of supported gems that i have on my bow)

If I look at "Awakened Minion Damage Support for example", seems like it gives 55% minion damage at level 6-7, and 56% at 8-9. so level 5 and 6 for me would be the same..am i correct? so I can save some money and buy them level 5?

I've seen those maps done and no-one is just 'wiping through' the enemies, it takes time for even OP builds to kill stuff (I mean like 40-60 mins to do the map!)

Being realistic, your target is to keep your summons alive and doing 'some' damage - then it's just a matter of time ;0

There is the matter of Kosis and Omniwotsit tho - they are RIDICULOUSLY tough - I've only run into them both with this build once (in a lower tier map with lower-tier gear) and my minions didn't insta-die (good news!) but the rate they were going-down I'd have been old before they died so I dropped-out of the fog...

I'd say 10-15 mins per map and my build is similar to Elorathiel's "cluster jewel stacking" from the first post. For clarification it's not the highest dps build because it's mostly focused on minions life.
I added my own twist to it for faster boss killing so Kosis in simulacrum wave 20 takes max 15 seconds ;)

Just respecced and building up the Tanky Build.
Can somebody who plays this picture the skills assignment on the mousebuttons + keys?
I seem to have to less buttons to map all the skills to. Maybe I get something wrong and don't need to manual cast something...
For the Tanky build there is no youtube video to compare(just an outdated with cyclone) and I don't see the second skill bar.

tldr; on which keys/buttons did you put all skills?
