Im wondering would an empower level 4 be more damage, you would trade conc for awaken controlled destruction so it fits mana wise. pob seem to say more but i've no clue lol.

O am going to add catalysts to the belt, which I stupidly annulled to get rid of armor and it dropped both the strength and flat ES rolls. So I could get another belt in the future, however at MAX that would only raise me near 8k, how did you get 9k? I have some solid gear and just curious

Your gloves, boots and helmet all have pretty low ES rolls - I'd look at getting better ones, belt & gloves especially could be closer to 170es, plenty for sale up atm.

Also your amulet shouldn't be enhanced attributes, it should be enhanced life-and-mana modifiers so that it goes from 20 to 24% of maximum life converted to energy shield. +3 all attributes gives almost nothing.

Does anyone try to compare which easier to craft wand fossil or essences

You may have already covered this, but I have a 20/20 blood magic, yet I still can't use both discipline and herald with out using a reduced mana circle of anguish, and my boots are 3x1 bm-herald-discipline, I have all the sockets in my gear just as you do. so I don't know what is causing this. please help if you can think of what it might be.

Fossils can lead to some VERY nice wands. But essence guarantees an almost T1 roll of the best DPS mod available. For budget, Essences all the way.

You're missing the 4% mana reserve node by influence.

I've been playing this build for a week and it feels great, super tanky and the damage feels ok for the gear I have. I'm sitting on 20ex and not sure where to go from here I could use more DPS tbh, I know my wand is really bad but I've never been good about buying rare weapons for builds (mostly ever played unique weapon builds) and I know my gems can use some quality (getting to it :D) what should my next upgrade be though? Probably my weapon.. unless awakened spell cascade would be a bigger upgrade?

First: gem levels. a level 21 Detonate Dead is literally just a few chaos. Do it. 21 VD is a little more but not bad either. Quality does not matter on these.

If you get a rare wand with Flammability on hit (Warlord Influence Suffix) you can replace your moonstone ring with another Herald of Ash Buff Effect+Fire Damage Circle of Anguish. This is a very big dps upgrade. Just spam them deafening essences of Anger til you get it. Or buy one if one exists on the market. (open suffix required of course)

Also Awakened Spell Cascade is very nice.

From there, 19-20% CDR on belt will also go a long way for your DPS while standing still and tanking Kosis.

Amazing build. Did all 20 waves of Simulacrum and was only level 82 without all the cluster gems. The enemies melted almost as fast as my graphics card. 10/10
