[3.12] Radiating Carrion Golems. 90% resistances + 10-20 Mil DPS

Is there a decent updated PoB somewhere? I modified one from the Cyclone variant of this, but I still feel very squishy and trying to clear even 20% delirium + beyond maps feels super risky.

The main post hasnt been updated, but there's a few "tested and working" PoB in the last few posts for most playstyle.

I know @warshade23 has a pretty decent minmaxed Defensive + offensive build he could post again

Otherwise here's mine after lots of reworking and some minmaxing, but I'm more glass cannon (5k es and nearing 20m/golem)

Overall, your goal is to optimize your sockets setup to fit all auras and not waste skill gem slots, that'll be your main defensive/offensive aspect. That's done through mana reserve corruption on jewels, enchant on helmet, mana reserve on helmet, different med clusters.. etc. You have multiple ways of achieving it.

Then you work on your items. helmet/gloves/rings can be optimized for either self-tankiness, minion tankiness or damage.

Weapon (gg wand) is a late upgrade for pure DPS, so are good ghastlys.

Few notes. The wand has the Kingmaker stats on it from AG along with the rare helm with the extra phys taken mod. The abyss jewels are key and arent hard to make actually if you can score ones fractured. Look for the minion skill one as its not targetable with harvest. Then alt spam until you hit T1 ES or Phys with it then regal and harvest craft the rest.

Cluster jewels you need to decide if you want more minion life vs minion dps. Minion life you take Renewal, Feasting Fiends, and whatever suffix notable because we dont take the top one, only the two side notables. If you want more minion dps, roll with Renewal, Vicious Bite, and Rotten Claws. This setup makes Renewal and Vicious Bite on the sides with Rotten Claws on the top.

For the mediums you want at least two 6 passive mediums with Replenishing Pres and 1st Among Equals. Try and get whatever stats you are lacking on here if you need them like Str or Dex. If you want to go more DPS here, you can roll the last two with Replenishing Pres and Precise Commander. This takes away some ES from you but boosts your Golems.

As far as skill tree goes, you have several options. Essence Surge isnt worth it to me, ignore it. If you want to be tankier and get to around 10k ES, you can with Faith and Steel, plus two points around Foresight or go up above Ravenous Horde and take the Int nodes since they scale well. You'll have about 4 points or so if you hit 100 to play with as you please.

As for gear and what to work towards, you need to work towards getting 6-link Shavs, Doryani Boots, Prism Guardian with either +2 gems corruption or damage taken as one of the elements, Alpha Howl helm, and Presence of Chayula. Darkness Enthroned only works well if you have good rolled jewels to put in it or else Torrent belt is better. Gloves are rare so shoot for ES, any stats you are missing and possibly Chaos res if you can swing it. Vivinsect rings are cheap enough now, try to get at least one and you can swing a rare ring with missing stats, ES and possibly +2-3 socketed gems. Stick with Clayshaper or CIP until you can make the wand or snipe one for cheap. I made my helm to give Zombies and AG added health boost. If you are having trouble running the main auras of Purity of Lightning, Fire, Ice, Pride, Haste(Vaal), Dread Banner, Flesh & Stone, Precision, Discipline and Vitality make sure you have things slotted where they need to go and you arent putting stuff like blood magic or generosity in your boots. Clarity is useless unless you are running a Watchers Eye with the mod for gaining extra ES while using it.

So, I went for them last night... fractured were too expensive, i bought 20c bases with both suffix and Reforge keep suffix until i hit decent prefix.

First one: T1 phys in 2 reforge, I think to myself "alright thats nice", then spend aug def + remadd def to get T4 ES. I tell myself "meh whatever, its just ~50es difference with T1 on PoB".

All in all: 3.5ex spent for a jewel that sells above 10-15ex

Onto the second one...

20c base, Reforge x3 to get T4 ES... I tell myself "same, whatever. Phys will be so much easier anyway since there's only one Physical mod available"

29 rem/add phys later, finally hit T1 (and only got 2 T2 in the process).

My luck with the first jewel has been entirely negated with the second one lol

Where would you recommend to put the extra 4 points from larges if going the Rotten route? I dont seem to find much alternative that really comes out on top DPS-wise

Pure Aptitude/Self-control are also good alternative to Precise Commander if you're having issues with mana/life reservation.


I'm wondering what to go for next. My setup is pretty unoptimized now due to making other rares with open suffixes and meaning I can swap some crafts/stats/aspect around.

What would be your take on next step with these?



I can alleviate the STR and/or Dex situation by changing my med clusters. Not sure what else to do from there though... been thinking of Reforge Keep prefix on helmet to try to go for a good amount of ES, then just re-aug Chaos/Phys and swap the Aspect to another slot.

For amulet, tempted to start attempting aug def +remadd def until T1 %ES so I can benchcraft minion speed or intel or something more useful... not sure what though.

Gloves are in a decent spot, other than minmaxing the ES on it not sure if there's anything else to do.

Ring could be improved if i fix my str/dex situation, possibly adding Intel or Minion damage craft. Also can switch the shock craft to Vivinsect if I manage to fix my dex (got a +19 dex/int vivinsect right now)

Yeah, dont go out and buy them straight up, you need to set an alert on trade so you can snipe them lol.

The 4 extra points you use to target whatever you feel you need more of. Feel like you are still to squishy? Take some nodes that provide more ES. Minions arent killing fast enough? Pick up Redemption or pickup the jewel slot near Elemental Equilibrium and slot a pure DPS minion jewel(Phys, Attack Speed, Minion SKill).

Id take Pure Aptitude since it offers Int also and ES regen of the two.

As for what to tackle next you'll have to play around in POB with each of those items and make them what you want to end up with and see which provides you the most benefit.

She's tricky but it can be done. AG isnt going to die in this since he doesnt deal enough damage to kill himself, your Golems will likely die though. When she spawns her 4 copies, find the one holding the mirror and book it to the opposite side as far as you can get from it and Convocation and hope they attack whichever copy is nearest at that point.

Can someone provide a trade link to the correct/best medium and large jewels we need? Maybe a link for the correct passives but the rest kinda crappy so it would be less expensive then maybe another link to jewels with perfect stats.

Thanks. Just curious do we pick up Wicked Ward? The guide seems to say so but the pob don't show that. Also I just beat act 10 and I did a few T1-2 maps and my carrion golems, spectres and a few zombies died. Anything wrong with my gear or passive tree? I am just grabbing extra es nodes before getting cluster jewels. Ill get charisma on amulet when i can afford it. Do we need any resists on gear other than unique gears and gems?
