I used Avatar of Fire for some time but the 3 points are too costly.

I'm currently trying to get gloves like that! In the meantime, I have some exalts stocked up, and I was wondering if you would be willing to check out my profile and recommend an upgrade. I mostly ask, because at this point I think that I'm either looking at extreme cost upgrades or crafting things myself, so I want to make sure that I'm actually getting the most out of my currency. I was thinking of either maybe trying to craft the brittle shield better, craft myself a helmet which seems incredibly expensive/unlikely, or start looking into trying to craft my own rings to max chaos resist. This is definitely the furthest I've ever gone with a build, so I'm feeling a little uncomfortable with the prices of things and want to make sure I'm focusing on the correct things!

It depends on how efficient you are at farming.
If you're farming pretty fast doing content like Simulcrums or Blight Ravaged maps(Super profitable) you'll be racking up money fast and I try to mirror the BiS helm. It's super expensive though and might be out of reach for many of you.

More realistically though, in your case I would at 3 primary major upgrades:
1. Awakened Multistrike
2. Assassin's Mark Ring
3. New Boots. You should look into getting Fugitive Boots with Chaos Res, Spell Supression, High life. You want to Aisling Slam 30% movement speed with Chill immunity and craft Freeze immunity on them aswell.
This opens you up to change Pantheon.

If you've maybe missed it, you want to use 1 Carnage, 1 Host Chieftain and 2 Crabs for your spectres. This gives you permanent 3 Charges on all minions, skeletons included which is massive.

How on Earth did you manage to make huge profits from Blight-Ravaged maps ? I used to farm them at the start of the league when they were 15-17c each and lvl86 bases were worth something. I barely broke even and these were so boring, that I had to take a break from the league for a week. I can't imagine they can bring you huge money, unless you use a bot to farm them.
