I hope in 3.19 they will either buff permanent minions like golems or specters or introduce other new permanent minions. I want to play an inexpensive starter minion build again and watch them kill stuff for me without pressing too much buttons. With skeletons we had to resummon them a lot

I'm always afraid of manifesto and patch notes because GGG always nerfs minions :P

I feel like now minions are in 3 categories:
permanent minions = 'weak' eg. spectres :(
temporary minions = 'strong' eg. skeleton mages
forgotten = 'weak/clunky' eg. phantasms

I really wish GGG didn't nerf spectres so much. Because every new league was exciting to find new spectres. Now all we can use is chieftain as support. So boring.

Ah! When you put mouse over Fleshcrafter you can see the text for the conversion mod is red. It means the mod doesn't supported in POB.

You can add this to the custom modifiers:

Minions gain 40% of life as extra maximum energy shield
Minions have 40% less life

It's not exactly correct number, but it's very close.


If you have white sockets, swap Pierce to stronger gem is always good. Critical damage does a lot, especially for the lightning damage! I've seen 43% shock on Pinnacle bosses. (Don't use Elemental Focus!)

So... Anything outside of golems and phys minions are RIP?

Kay, if possible and you don't mind, could you look over my necro and suggest any changes? i self crafted a helmet to replace the one i'm using now as soon as i get the 40% skeleton enchant on it. i also plan to harvest roll the values on it when i get the crafts to max them


current gear with current gem setup




would you put skeletons in helm(new one) and move helm gems to chest? if so, what would be the best combo in each? i know + duration corruption on armour is good but i don't really want to ruin it by chancing corruption with the rolls it has. my profile and characters are open so if you need anything else just let me know. thank you in advance wether you can look it over or not ;)

oh, if any of your suggestions require me to make any changes to the tree or get different cluster jewels, that is not a problem. i just want to get the maximum out of your skelemage build. it's awesome the way it is but i suck at PoB and usually fail with making changes as i don't know all the mechanics behind it lol

edit: forgot to mention that i will be putting "+300 to Armour while Fortified" enchant on the belt as i get fortification when AG is close from kingmaker

It's okay, now it's not only Spectres that's pepeg.
Now all minions will be bad :)

Could be worse for Spectres though. Sure, they're getting nerfed(lol).
But atleast you're not a skelly mage build. The gem itself lost ~75% dmg which is insane and that doesn't even count the nerf to Power/frenzy charges et.c.

Honestly might look into trying to make a Elementalist Flame Golem build or something this league. It got some heavy buffs but you know what they say.
1000% increase to nothing is still nothing.

i swap pierce and volley for hypothermia and critical damages on boss

i would say +2 durations gems



paid it 65ex last week and avaibility is very poor, 100ex in standard

ghastly jewels with +damage when used mions skill + cast speed especielly on the belt. have that on all my ghasly

10% cast spped on weapon is low, but will cost a lot for a quiet few up

BUT

do you really want to invest a lot at 1 week of the end of season ??

i don t speak about the nerf ...

I don't get it either... I don't think Pure Spectres have been that viable end game for a handful of leagues now.
