Any thoughts about the new Alberon's Warpath item. I'm trying to use it and like how my skeletons can convoke. Although my build is needing a lot of work and items to push even further

"The enchant should be Skeleton damage. And add +1 skeleton with your crafting bench, if you can."

The example shown has SRS enchant and the only enchant I know for Skeletons is +1 # of Skeletons.

even though they are legacy helms, the enchant and bench crafted mod are what she is referring to.

enchant - Skeletons deal 40% increased Damage

bench craft - +1 to maximum number of Raised Zombies
+1 to maximum number of Skeletons

Unfortunately my crafting luck is run out and I can't make +2 on a new helmet, so I just re-use my SRS helmet (+2 mod is really really hard to get!!)

You want the labyrinth enchant "Skeletons deal 40% increased damage" like this:


Then you want to craft prefix mod "+2 to all minion skill gems" like from my SRS helmet:


Finally, you want the bench craft "+1 number of zombies/skeletons" like spaceace's helmet:


Good news is you don't need Bone Helmet because you will replace the "minion deal 20% damage" with exarch/eater mods. So just buy the cheapest helmet with the skele damage.

It needs to be item level 75 to get +2 minion gem.

The best chance to get the mod is 4 socket + bound + pristine + dense + shuddering. This combo blocks most of the prefixes (1/22) but +2 is very low weight. Cheaper option is 3 socket + bound + pristine + dense (1/39).

I don't like the new change because it's already easy to resummon skeletons. They also have low life and die easily so need to resummon anyway. Lastly, rare boots gives a lot of stats/mods so I think it's better.

Kay not sure if you've messed around with it yet, but Rathpith and Necromantic Aegis work REALLY well with skelly mages. You lose a bit of defense not having a shield, but if you stack health in passives and extra suffix slots you can get something like 350%+ spell crit and spell damage for the skellies pretty easily. I've been working on the standard skelly mage build with Fleshcrafter, but with Rathpith and Necro Aegis and 3 multi Grand Spectrums. I've gotten up to around 600k dps per skelly mage and I don't even have a 21 vaal skeletons gem or a +2 to +4 chest yet. Lots of room to grow dps wise and really hoping a minion tester like yourself will give it a shot.

If I have 20 SRS out and I cast it again, do the onces that get replaced count as 'minion death' in regards to the Life from Death passive?


On another note I can switch to Hatred at anytime correct? The Grip of the council
gloves just add to the dmg they are not required before switching?

Oh that's a nice idea. How do you feel about defense? Do you need to play a bit more carefully to stay away from trouble?

Hm. actually I don't remember if it works for SRS. Need to check!
