I switched to gravebind and it is soooooo much better. You lose the curse but whenever. Also let me link offering with an faster casting because 1 second cast time in the nightmare was always a bit scary. Still have 2 sockets left over, currently trying armageddon brand with culling but I am sure there is something better.

Nice. I was focused on bossing, so I use vixen's.

Did you try using corpsewalker as well? It makes sure you always have corpse nearby for summoning! I'm also thinking to anoint whisper of doom and just have 2 curse on aura and self cast mark for bossing.

in your skele mage guide PoB you have a tab called "100" and it swaps out dead reckoning for from dust but keeps a lot of other things the same, why do you do this? doesn't this stop you summoning skeleton mages?

It should work. The POB is imported from my test character. Just can't choose the same mastery.

I just checked in the game now. Should be like this. Yellow mark and blue text for selected mastery, and grey mark grey text for mastery on another place.

Actually, not sure. but I think GGG nerfed Demon Herder in latest patch :(

The only thing I don't like about Pale Angel is the long cooldown on the omega beam. It's 6s I think.

There's an error in skelemages' spectre gem section, it has minion damage listed instead of minion life.

And I have some questions about the build:

- Is it reasonable to respec from skeleton warriors to mages? I thought I could play the former until I find the uniques I need for the latter.
- Why doesn't it use multiple projectiles for clearing? Is it already good without that?
- That's the point of using punishment? Only damage on low life? Are there any alternatives?
- What could I use for the third spectre instead of another monke?

I rely on Blessed Rebirth to make skeles immune to damage, so I don't use minion life.

Warrior -> Mage is fine. It's almost the same passive tree and gear. Main difference is 6L Fleshcrafter and Dead Reckoning.

I changed gems to 5b1g because my friend showed me with just pierce. It's better for bossing. Older mage build used 4b2g (lmp + pierce/chain). It's better for mapping.

For the curse, there is nothing else to use. We don't need elemental weakness because fleshcrafter makes res exactly equal 0%. You can use defensive curse instead (temp chains, enfeeble) though!

3rd spectre can be pale seraphim! It has debuff 15% increase damage taken.

Hi Kay,


Currently stacking 4 Pale Angels and 1 Ape with spell echo, meatshield and lifetap supports using your starter guide.

I must say that the omega beams are more consistent that way and they deal alot of damage without any investments into lightning auras or Fleshcrafter (I'm still using a tabula rasa atm) or any kind of elemental support gems.


But yes I agree that the beams are on a long cooldown.


Edit: I was using Demon Harpy early on but not so sure if their AOE is good in mapping and their skill cd are pretty long too. So I ditched them.
