Yup. Powerful precision works like point blank, so the pierce bonus will never get below 50%.
So either go for 50% extra pierce chance from passives or from gem :)

Thanks for the build and loot filter. Just wanted to ask for an update of the Windripper build. I've been super lucky so far and found Windripper and Voltaxic after buying a 250+dps pdps bow. If you could provide a scion tree that would be great too as I went assassin raider but if not I'm sure I can adjust the ranger tree.

Powerful Precision does not have a minimum amount of Pierce chance, it'll drop straight to zero if the Projectile remains in flight long enough.

I just rolled as a scion and will become a assassin-raider on the new ladder.

Quick question. I just invested into buying a drillneck and a 20%quality pierce. Should I A) get the pierce cluster along with it, B) just use the gem, or C) was it a waste to invest in the 20% quality gem and just use the pierce cluster.

With how cheap drillnecks are this league, would you go for powerful precision or still stick with far shot on a drillneck+pierce setup?

Hello, i like to know which ascendary class i should pick up.
Stats:

100% Pierce
1.5k Evasion
56% Dodge & Spell Dodge
3.9k Life

I use TS for both single and aoe, tried LA/BR already but i choos to stick on TS.
I think chain deadeye would be nice but a friend told me that its not possible to chain if i have 100% pierce.
So i asking myself: Onslaught Raider or is it worth to respec to Chain Deadeye.

As much as i like the build and guide, there is so much confusion goin on here. Some clarifications would be highly appreciated.

So What about Tornado and Deadeye +1 chain? Can anybody out there tell me about the current state? I hear everywhere that its counterproductive due to tornado shot's pierce. Am confused :S
