No, not at all. They are exceptionally good at applying aggro and taunt/etc... against enemies, which stops enemies and bosses from even targeting you at all. They also mop up and absorb a heap of regular damage & AOE damage which you then don't take at all. They also clear trash white mobs extremely quickly.

The only time you don't really need them is in a T15+ boss fight, where re-summoning them could get you killed by standing still to do it, so you simply don't re-summon them under those circumstances until after the fight.

You'd be mad not to use them in my opinion. They only take up one single skill slot and there's really nothing else better to put there in it's place, considering the tanky defence they give everyone and the trash clearing ability they have.

Read the build guide. He already provided multiple pastebin POB's and also direct character profile links which could be imported directly into Path of Building.

Just drop 2 Dyadus es and animate them? Even if it has equipped items it'll equip new ones allright.

When using Cloak of Defiance, how many spectres are you running with? 3? (2x TV and 1x WM?). What are your thoughts on using a Midnight Bargain for a 4th spectre and flame dash as movement skill? Do you spam Flesh Offering anytime there are corpses or do you wait for the duration to drop off? I'm wondering if the effects from Mistress of Sacrifice stack if I keep spamming Flesh Offering.

With cloak of defiance you go with 3 spectres, Midnight Bargain is bad because it reserves life, and because you are losing the 15% block + free fortify from advancing fortress. A better option is The Scourge because it gives you 15% attack speed (faster whirling blades) and +70% minion damage. Flame dash is decent, but whirling blades / shield charge is better because you can support them with fortify for extra damage reduction. Spamming flesh/bone offering overrides the previous offering skill, you can have only one active at a time.

According to wiki, animate guardian base resists are 25%. Here in the guide it says 40%

which one is right?

I think the wiki might be right because my animate guardian kept getting owned in phoenix map. I made a new guardian with the assumption that base resists are 25%, he took much less damage from phoenix boss. Practically face tanked every AOE easy

Some told me that this head nad belt should be changed. Any my jewels ?
And 1 more - what better 4x SG or 3x TV + 1 WM ? I know that for SG I have to change 3 gems in chest. Many thx for any advice
